Hydrogels for Three-Dimensional Ionizing-Radiation Dosimetry

Radiation-sensitive gels are among the most recent and promising developments for radiation therapy (RT) dosimetry. RT dosimetry has the twofold goal of ensuring the quality of the treatment and the radiation protection of the patient. Benchmark dosimetry for acceptance testing and commissioning of RT systems is still based on ionization chambers. However, even the smallest chambers cannot resolve the steep dose gradients of up to 30–50% per mm generated with the most advanced techniques. In the Ouled Abdoun sedimentary basin (Morocco), the phosphatic series is composed of regular interbedded phosphatic and marly limestone layers. Exploitation of the phosphate in some deposits in this basin collides frequently with problems bound to the existence, in the phosphatic series, of disturbed areas (sterile bodies) qualified as derangements by the mining engineers of the Office Cherifian Phosphate Group (OCP). Bakalaura darbā “Saules radiācijas izkliede un atstarošana dažāda tipa mākoņos virs Latvijas teritorijas 2005. - 2011. gados” tik pētīta dažāda tipa mākoņu ietekme uz Saules radiācijas izkliedi un atstarošanu, balstoties uz satelītu datu rindām. Pētījuma mērķis ir izvērtēt mākoņu lomu Saules radiācijas izkliedes un atstarošanas procesos. Darbs sastāv no 3 daļām. Tā pirmajā daļā ir apkopota informācija par pētāmām tēmām. Otrajā daļā aprakstītas datu ievākšanas un apstrādes metodes. Trešajā daļā aprakstīti datu apstrādes rezultāti, kuri liecina, ka dažādu mākoņu tipu ietekme uz Saules radiāciju savstarpēji būtiski neatšķiras. GALVENĀ DEVONA LAUKA OSTEOLEPIFORMU KĀRTAS DAIVSPURZIVIS (SARCOPTERYGII, OSTEOLEPIFORMES) Ivars ZupiĦš ANOTĀCIJA Revidēts osteolepiformu kārtas daivspurzivju taksonomiskias sastāvs un stratigrāfiskā izplatība Galvenā devona lauka (Austrumeiropas platformas ziemeĜrietumu daĜas) teritorijā. Kritiski izvērtēts morfoloăisko pazīmju kopums un sniegtas sugu precizētas diagnozes. Konstatēts, ka darbā apskatāmajā teritorijā kārta pārstāvēta ar 16 sugām, kas pieder 9 ăintīm.
