Vorbereitung von Austauschstudierenden auf ein Studium in einem deutschsprachigen Land : Ein textsortenorientiertes Blended-Learning-Konzept

Deutschland ist nach wie vor das beliebteste Zielland finnischer Studierender, und das wichtigste Motiv für die Wahl eines deutschsprachigen Gastlandes ist, Deutsch zu lernen. In diesem Beitrag soll das Konzept eines Blended-Learning-Kurses zur Vorbereitung auf ein Austauschstudium in einem deutschsprachigen Land vorgestellt werden. Der Kurs war handlungs- und textsortenorientiert auf den Erwerb mündlicher studienbezogener Fertigkeiten ausgerichtet. Für das E-Learning wurde das deutsche EUROMOBIL-Programm (Euromobil o.J.) verwendet. Improving End-of-Life Care in Hospitals

Objectives: To explore and document the experiences and expectancies of bereaved family members concerning the end-of-life (EOL) care of their deceased relative in a general hospital setting. Methods: Cross-sectional study using a questionnaire that included open-ended questions. Free-text answers were evaluated with qualitative content analysis. A total of 270 family members provided information about improvements in inpatient care. Results: Families described structural deficiencies. Furthermore, they requested a more holistic patient health care beyond medical treatment and expressed the wish for more professional support for families. WRKY gene family drives dormancy release in onion bulbs

Onion (Allium cepa L.) is an important bulb crop grown worldwide. Dormancy in bulbous plants is an important physiological state mainly regulated by a complex gene network that determines a stop of vegetative growth during unfavorable seasons. Limited knowledge on the molecular mechanisms that regulate dormancy in onion were available until now. Here, a comparison between uninfected and onion yellow dwarf virus (OYDV)-infected onion bulbs highlighted an altered dormancy in the virus-infected plants, causing several symptoms, such as leaf striping, growth reduction, early bulb sprouting and rooting, as well as a lower abscisic acid (ABA) level at the start of dormancy. This paper studies the Encounter of Knowledge as a project that, by welcoming mestres and mestras of ancestral knowledge into universities, contributes to decolonize higher education, broadening its field of memory.
