Weather data are crucial to correctly design buildings and their heating and cooling systems and to assess their energy performances. In the intensely urbanized towns the effect of climatic parameters is further emphasized by the Urban Heat Island (UHI) phenomenon, known as the increase in the air temperature of urban areas, compared to the one measured in the extra-urban areas. The analysis of the heat island needs detailed local climate data which can be collected only by a dedicated weather monitoring system. Regulation of hdc expression and HDC activity by enological factors in lactic acid bacteria.

Aims: The aim of this work was to study the influence of enological factors on the histidine decarboxylase gene (hdc) expression and on histidine decarboxylase enzyme (HDC) activity in Lactobacillus hilgardii, Pediococcus parvulus and Oenococcus oeni. Methods and Results: Cell extracts and whole cells were used. Glucose, fructose, malic acid and citric acid diminished the hdc expression. Ethanol did not increase hdc expression or activity in cells, but increased HDC activity. Temperature and pH had effect on the activity of HDC but not on hdc expression. Tässä kandidaatin tutkielmassa tutkitaan psykodynaamisen musiikkiterapiajakson aikana soitettuja improvisaatioita musiikkiterapeuttiseen käyttöön kehiteltyjen musiikkianalyysimenetelmin. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on tarkastella asiakkaan ja terapeutin välistä musiikillista vuorovaikutusta, musiikin dynamiikkaa ja siinä tapahtuvia muutoksia terapian kaaressa. Tutkimuksen aineisto on osa Jyväskylän yliopiston musiikin laitoksella tehtyä kansainvälistä Braintuning- tutkimusta, jossa selvitettiin improvisaatiolle pohjautuvan musiikkiterapian vaikutusta masennuksesta toipumiseen.
