La creación de los consorcios de riego, en la primera posguerra, revolucionó los equilibrios sociales e hidráulicos de las regiones citrícolas de Palermo (Italia). En este artículo, a través de fuentes primarias, se analizan las relaciones conflictivas entre los agricultores usuarios, los nuevos y controvertidos organismos de gestión colectiva, los propietarios de pozos, acusados de dominar el mercado de las aguas, y los distribuidores, enjuiciados por pertenecer a la mafia en los años fascistas.

The study of the strength and behaviour of the antikaon-nucleon ($\mathrm{\overline{K}N}$) interaction constitutes one of the key focuses of the strangeness sector in low-energy Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD). In this letter a unique high-precision measurement of the strong interaction between kaons and protons, close and above the kinematic threshold, is presented. The femtoscopic measurements of the correlation function at low pair-frame relative momentum of (K$^+$ p $\oplus$ K$^-$ $\overline{\mathrm{p}}$) and (K$^-$ p $\oplus$ K$^+$ $\overline{\mathrm{p}}$) pairs measured in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 5, 7 and 13 TeV are reported. El problema de la descarga del agua subterránea al medio superficial: estudio de esquemas de conocimiento en universitarios

En este trabajo se muestran los resultados de un estudio sobre los esquemas de conocimiento de estudiantes universitarios en relación a la importancia que prestan al agua subterránea para explicar el caudal de un río tras un tiempo sin precipitaciones, así como su integración en sus representaciones gráficas sobre el ciclo del agua. Los resultados indican una importante incultura hidrogeológica de los universitarios, reclamándose la toma de conciencia y formación del profesorado en general en este campo, así como la realización de campañas divulgativas para paliar los problemas que afectan a una adecuada gestión de los recursos hídricos subterráneos.

Gambling Disorder is a prevalent non-substance use disorder, which contrasts with the low number of people requesting treatment. Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) could help to enhance the dissemination of evidence-based treatments and considerably reduce the costs. The current study seeks to assess the efficacy of an online psychological intervention for people suffering from gambling problems in Spain. A series of diarylheptanoids, namely 1,7-bis-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-heptan-3-one-5-O-D-xylopyranoside (oregonin), 1,7-bis-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-3-hydroxyheptane-5-O-β-D-xylopyranoside and 1,7-bis-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-heptane-3-one-5-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (platyphylloside), were isolated from the bark of alder family trees, a species widely spread over in Europe.
