2. Stato dell’arte e riferime…

Objectives pursued and achieved Conjectural reconstruction achieved the following results: • formulation of analytical documents which show how the planimetric and altimetric articulation are perfectly consistent with the functional program• definition of the level of uncertainty1. Brief description of the object of study The competition of the Palace of Justice in Rome takes place in four phases between 1884 and 1887. The project for the first competition in 1884 drawn up by the then very young Ernesto Basile (Palermo 1857-1932) reveals a great deal of design expertise that transforms the complex functional program into an austere building in neo-florentine style. The original drawings of the building not realized kept in the Basile Endowment of the Department of Architecture of the University of Palermo have been the subject of preliminary study to the phases of analysis interpretation and conceptual reconstruction of the digital model. 2. State of the art and main bibliographical references The conjectural reconstruction on the basis of drawings and archival documents is a well-established and codified practice thanks to various disciplinary contributions at national and international level. The Aqua-Planet Experiment (APE): CONTROL SST Simulation

2013

Climate simulations by 16 atmospheric general circulation models (AGCMs) are compared on an aqua-planet, a water-covered Earth with prescribed sea surface temperature varying only in latitude. The idealised configuration is designed to expose differences in the circulation simulated by different models. Basic features of the aqua-planet climate are characterised by comparison with Earth. The models display a wide range of behaviour. The balanced component of the tropospheric mean flow, and mid-latitude eddy covariances subject to budget constraints, vary relatively little among the models. In contrast, differences in damping in the dynamical core strongly influence transient eddy amplitudes…

Materiały do rozmieszczenia pluskwiaków różnoskrzydłych (Hemiptera: Heteroptera) wybranych obszarów Polski: Wyżyny Małopolskiej, Gór Świętokrzyskich,…

2020

The paper presents new faunistic data on the occurrence of true-bugs Heteroptera in south-eastern Poland. Localities were scattered in 25 UTM squares in five zoogeographical regions: Małopolska Upland, Świętokrzyskie Mts, Western Beskidy Mts, Eastern Beskidy Mts and Bieszczady Mts. In total we present the data concerning 129 true-bug species, including Elasmucha grisea (listed for the first time from Świętokrzyskie Mts), Heterocordylus leptocerus, Polymerus nigrita, Raglius alboacuminatus, Scolopostethus pictus, Chartoscirta cincta cincta and Physatocheila smreczynskii (first records from Małopolska Upland), Nabis flavomarginatus, N. limbatus, Peribalus strictus, Coptosoma scutellatum and S…

Stilt bugs (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Berytidae) of Poland: check-list, distribution, bionomics

2019

W Polsce pluskwiaki różnoskrzydłe z rodziny smukleńcowatych (Berytidae) reprezentowane są przez dziewięć gatunków sklasyfikowanych w czterech rodzajach: Neides tipularius, Berytinus clavipes, B. hirticornis, B. minor, B. crassipes, B. signoreti, Gampsocoris culicinus, G. punctipes i Metatropis rufescens. Niniejsze opracowanie, poza nowymi stanowiskami, podsumowuje wszystkie dane na temat występowania przedstawicieli Berytidae na terenie naszego kraju. Dodatkowo podano podstawowe informacje dotyczące biologii wymienionych gatunków (preferencje wilgotnościowe, termiczne, troficzne oraz ilość generacji w roku). Berytinus montivagus został wyłączony z krajowej fauny, jednak jego występowanie w …

Pluskwiaki różnoskrzydłe (Hemiptera: Heteroptera) zimujące pod korą platanów klonolistnych Platanus x acerifolia w Polsce

2020

The paper presents the results of three-year studies conducted at 75 locations in Poland testing the use of the London planes for overwintering of true-bugs. Insects were sampled from the bark of trunks. Altogether 25 species of Heteroptera was recorded, including three invasive species that can considerable affect plane trees: Arocatus longiceps, Corythucha ciliata and Oxycarenus lavaterae.

Projekty citizen science jako metoda wzmocnienia świadomości społecznej o problemie antybiotykooporności

2023

Problem antybiotykooporności jest według WHO jednym z najbardziej donośnych zagrożeń XXI wieku.
