Inquiry-based teaching has been at the heart of science education since it was first outlined in national standards over a decade ago. The general idea behind the inquiry guidelines is that pupils would adopt ways of conducting science, in addition to conceptually learning, thus attaining also the epistemological dimension of science. La inscripción en el registro consular no es obligatoria para los emigrantes españoles. Conlleva, no obstante, una serie de ventajas que propician, antes o después, su realización. En este artículo se identifican y analizan los principales motivos que animan a ello a los emigrantes españoles. Se toman como base fundamental los datos e informaciones obtenidos a través de una encuesta cuantitativa y entrevistas semiestructuradas realizadas a más de cuatro mil españoles residentes en el extranjero. Cognitive-Behavioural Treatment Package for Teaching Grooming Skills to a Man with an Intellectual Disability

A combination of health education, use of picture cues based on task analyses, a system of least prompts and social reinforcement was applied to teach various grooming skills to a man with a moderate intellectual disability. A multiple baseline design across behaviours was employed to show the effects. The results indicated rapid learning of lacking skills such as tooth brushing, shaving, showering and washing of arms and face.

In this paper, an interactive version of the ParEGO algorithm is introduced for identifying most preferred solutions for computationally expensive multiobjective optimization problems. It enables a decision maker to guide the search with her preferences and change them in case new insight is gained about the feasibility of the preferences. At each interaction, the decision maker is shown a subset of non-dominated solutions and she is assumed to provide her preferences in the form of preferred ranges for each objective. Currently, photographs are an indispensable means for documenting and surveying objects and places, however, they have an inherent limitation due to a lack of identification data. Digital applications on a photograph could resolve this limitation. This paper, therefore, details the results of a research based on an innovative photographic system, with the purpose of identifying objects in digital photos. We study the correlations between the VLBA (Very Long Baseline Array) radio emission at 15GHz, extended emission at 151MHz, and optical nuclear emission at 5100{AA} for a complete sample of 135 compact jets. We use the partial Kendall's tau correlation analysis to check the link between radio properties of parsec-scale jets and optical nuclear luminosities of host active galactic nuclei (AGN).
