The aims of this study were two-fold: (1) to inspect separately for the relative age and birthplace effects for players selected in the National Basketball Association (NBA) draft; (2) to explore the interaction among these factors and analyse this interaction in players' career performance. The database was obtained from the official records of the players (n = 1,738), who were selected during the annual editions of the NBA Draft from 1990 to 2019. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, vai trauksme kā stāvoklis ir saistīts ar sportisko sniegumu un vai pastāv saistība starp trauksmi kā stāvokli un trauksmi kā personības iezīmi. Pētījumā piedalījās kopā 42 dalībnieces, kuras spēlē basketbolu Jaunajā Sieviešu basketbola līgā, vecumā no 18 līdz 25 gadiem. Pētījumā tika izmantota Trauksmes stāvokļa iezīmes - pašnovērtējuma aptauja un spor-tisko sasniegumu efektivitātes koeficients, kura aprēķināšanai, tika izmantota efektivitātes ko-eficienta formulas pārveidojums, kuru izmanot LBS (Latvijas Basketbola Savienība). This study aimed to develop a valid and reliable performance analysis template for quantifying team action variables in elite men’s wheelchair basketball. First action variables and operational definitions were identified by the authors and verified by an expert panel of wheelchair basketball coaching staff in order to establish expert validity.
