Phenolic Compounds in Needles of Norway Spruce Trees in Relation to Novel Forest Decline I. Studies on Trees from a Site in the Northern Black Forest

Summary Contents of selected phenolic compounds in needles of Norway spruce trees (Picea abies) from the Black Forest were measured using a HPLC-technique elaborated for serial studies in forest decline research. Measurements on needles that were harvested on several dates during two growing seasons gave no hint of seasonal variations in the concentrations of the studied phenolic compounds. Values for picein demonstrate an average decrease in the needles of severely damaged trees compared with the still undamaged ones, but the results are impaired by strong individual variations among the single trees. p-Hydroxyacetophenone was found in only very low amounts showing no constant differences …

Blockchain has been gradually applied to different Internet of Things (IoT) platforms. As the efficiency of the blockchain mainly depends on the network computing capability, how to make sure the acquisition of the computational resources and participation of the devices would be the driving force. In this work, we focus on investigating incentive mechanism for rational miners to purchase the computational resources. L’opération de diagnostic archéologique a livré la présence de plusieurs occupations anciennes. La présence la plus ancienne est matérialisée par une fosse peu profonde de la Tène D2. Plusieurs fossés d’enclos d’orientation nord-sud ou est-ouest ont été repérés à divers endroits de la parcelle, ainsi que quelques structures domestiques. Ils sont datés du début de la période gallo-romaine. Du mobilier archéologique du Bas-Empire a également été récolté dans le comblement de structures plus récentes, ce qui laisse présager de la présence de structures de cette période.Un niveau de débordement de la rivière du Becquerel a scellé ces niveaux antiques. Alena Ginsberga poēma Kauciens ir viens no nozīmīgākajiem 20. gs. literārajiem darbiem. Pētījumā izvirzītie mērķi – izpētīt misticisma iezīmes poēmā Kauciens un identificēt reliģisko sinkrētismu tajā. Uzdevumos ietilpst misticisma definēšana darba tēmas ietvaros, Ginsberga ieskatu apskatīšana bīta paaudzes kontekstā, kā arī poēmas Kauciens analīze. Rezultātā tiek raksturots mūsdienās sastopams misticisms, kur dzejnieks darbojas kā mistiķis, kas komunicē savu pieredzi. Darbs ir unikāls poēmas Kauciens pētniecībā. Darba pamata metode ir kontentanalīze, ar kuras palīdzību tiek analizēta poēma Kauciens. Pētījuma gaitā apstiprināta darbā izvirzītā tēze – bīta paaudzes spilgtākā dzejnieka Alena G…
