"Unter dem Etikett der 'Kommunitarismusdebatte' wird seit einigen Jahren der Umgang mit Differenz und die Integration unterschiedlicher Bevölkerungsgruppen in ein demokratisches politisches System kontrovers diskutiert. Der Streit zwischen 'Kommunitaristen' und 'Liberalen' entzündet sich üaber die Grundlagen der modernen Demokratie. Vereinfacht gründet sich für die Kommunitaristen Demokratie zuerst auf Gemeinschaft und für die Liberalen zuerst auf Gerechtigkeit. Die Kommunitarismusdebatte blieb trotz einer großen Zahl von Beiträgen auf die Analyse moderner westlicher Demokratien beschränkt und sie weist zudem ein 'soziologisches Defizit' auf. Beyond GDP: an analysis of the socio-economic diversity of European regions

International audience; This paper aims to analyze the socioeconomic diversity of the European Union (EU-28) regions from a dynamic perspective. For that purpose, we combine a series of exploratory space-time analysis approaches to multiple Factor Analysis (MFA) applied to a large range of indicators collected at the NUTS-2 level for the period 2000–2015 for the EU-28. First, we find that the first factor of MFA, interpreted as economic development (ECO-DEV), is spatially clustered and that a moderate convergence process is at work between European regions from 2000 to 2015. Kadastrs - sistematizēti kādu zemes vai ūdens nogabalu vai citu objektu dati; ar nodokļiem apliekamo zemju saraksts un novērtējums pilsētās un laukos. Zemes kadastru sāka ar zemes uzmērīšanu un vērtēšanu, vienlaikus veicot muižu redukciju, atsavinot lielāko daļu muižas zemju, kuras nodeva Zviedrijas valsts pārziņā. Tas bija labi izstrādāts kadastrs, un to izmantoja no 1691. līdz 1911. gadam, t. i., 220 gadus. Tas pasaulē ir samērā mazpazīstams, un tagadējās Latvijas un Igaunijas teritorijā tam bija tikai lokāla nozīme. Changes in Family Income around the Time of Birth of Children in Germany between 1985 and 2004

Während der Verlauf und die Ursachen des Geburtenverhaltens intensiv erforscht wurden, sind die finanziellen Folgen einer Geburt empirisch kaum beachtet worden. Daher werden hier kurzfristige Wohlstandsveränderungen von Familien (hinsichtlich verfügbarem Haushaltseinkommen und Äquivalenzeinkommen) rund um die Geburt eines Kindes in längsschnittlicher Perspektive analysiert und auf ihre Ursachen untersucht. Zu diesem Zweck wurden die Daten des Sozio-oekonomischen Panels (1984-2005) mittels Fixed-Effekt-Panelregressionsmodellen analysiert.
