Among the range of products elaborated in the Dukes of Burgundy vineyards at the end of the Middle Ages, the galant is first quoted in 1383. This paper strives to shed new light upon the sources in which the galant appears, i.e. the accountability documentation of the Dukes’ vineyards. Our research focuses on two demesnes located near Dijon: Talant and Chenôve.The study of this rare product (2-4% of total production), which was certainly flavored with gentian, shows that the notion of fortified wine should be reconsidered for the 14th and 15th centuries. Maģistra darbā „Politiskā situācija Meklenburgas-Priekšpomerānijas pavalstī pēc Vācijas apvienošanās (1990. gads - mūsdienas)” ir aplūkota Meklenburgas-Priekšpomerānijas attīstība pēc Vācijas apvienošanās 1990.gadā caur politikas aspektu. Meklenburgas-Priekšpomerānijas mūsdienu vēsture ir maz pētīta tēma, caur tās politisko situāciju tiek apskatīta Vācijas apvienošanās ietekme uz pavalsti, kā arī tās integrācijas process. Aplūkojot tās tālāko ekonomisko, kultūras un sociālo attīstību tiek saprasta arī tās politisko partiju attīstība. Noslēgumā secināts, ka pēc apvienošanās politiskās partijas federālajā zemē galvenokārt attīstījās tikai ja tās spēja pielāgoties vietējo vēlētāju interesēm.

Abstract Marburg's disease (MD) is an extremely rare and aggressive form of multiple sclerosis (MS). In some cases, MD presents with tumefactive demyelinating lesions with a “tumor-like” appearance in MRI images, for which it may be difficult to achieve a form of differential diagnosis between definitive tumors or abscesses. Here we report a case of MD histopathologically confirmed after neuronavigationguided biopsy. Postoperative course was uneventful and following discharge, the patient attended outpatient follow-up appointments and received i.v. cyclophopsphamide, achieving progressive clinical remission. The aim of this study was to determine the occurrence of tick-borne pathogens of medical importance in questing ticks collected from five recreationally used islands along the Norwegian coastline. Furthermore, since coinfection may affect the disease severity, this study aimed to determine the extent of coinfection in individual ticks or co-localization of tick-borne pathogens. In all, 4158 questing Ixodes ricinus ticks were analyzed. For detection of tick-borne encephalitis virus (TBEV), nymphs (3690) were analyzed in pools of ten. Background: The wellbeing of oral lichen planus patients (OLPs) may be strongly influenced by a poor quality of sleep (QoS) and psychological impairment. The aims were to analyze the prevalence of sleep disturbance, anxiety, and depression in OLPs and to validate the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) in OLPs. Methods: Three hundred keratotic OLPs (K-OLPs), 300 with predominant non-keratotic OLP (nK-OLPs), and 300 controls were recruited in 15 Italian universities.
