In this work, naturally occurring compounds, such as Vitamin E (VE) and Ferulic Acid (FA), at high concentrations, have been considered as pro-degradant agents for Low Density Polyethylene (PE). However, all obtained results using the naturally occurring molecules as pro-oxidant agents for PE have been compared with the results achieved using a classical pro-oxidant agent, such as calcium stearate (Ca stearate) and with neat PE. Los recientes trabajos geoarqueológicos llevados a cabo en el tramo final del rio Millars (Castelló), concretamente en la zona próxima a su desembocadura, han proporcionado datos geomorfológicos y geocronológicos de interés. Las dataciones numéricas por OSL indican el desarrollo de las terrazas bajas del río (T5 y T6) en el MIS 2, entre 25.000 y 21.000 años B.P. aproximadamente. Estos datos permiten contextualizar los conjuntos del Paleolítico Medio y Superior existentes, cuyo análisis morfotécnico se incluye en el presente estudio.

Reconstrucción paleoambiental del Pleistoceno Superior en la desembocadura del río Millars a través del análisis palinológico

Se presentan los resultados del análisis palinológico efectuado sobre sedimentos del Pleistoceno superior en la desembocadura del río Millars, que han permitido detectar un episodio frío que interrumpió la vegetación presente en la zona y ejerció un efecto de debilitamiento sobre el caudal del río. La presencia de polen de arbustos termófilos constata la importancia del litoral castellonense como zona refugio durante el último máximo glacial. La interpretación paleoclimática está basada en la variación de los porcentajes de Pinus, Juniperus, arbustos mesotermófilos y elementos acuáticos.

The proposed use is the antibacterial treatment of water used to wash citrus fruits and peppers in processing plants. Comparing proton momentum distributions in A = 2 and 3 nuclei via 2H 3H and 3He (e,e′p) measurements

We report the first measurement of the $(e,e'p)$ reaction cross-section ratios for Helium-3 ($^3$He), Tritium ($^3$H), and Deuterium ($d$). The measurement covered a missing momentum range of $40 \le p_{miss} \le 550$ MeV$/c$, at large momentum transfer ($\langle Q^2 \rangle \approx 1.9$ (GeV$/c$)$^2$) and $x_B>1$, which minimized contributions from non quasi-elastic (QE) reaction mechanisms. The data is compared with plane-wave impulse approximation (PWIA) calculations using realistic spectral functions and momentum distributions. The measured and PWIA-calculated cross-section ratios for $^3$He$/d$ and $^3$H$/d$ extend to just above the typical nucleon Fermi-momentum ($k_F \approx 250$ …
