The author shows the development of a structure, derived from the processing and integration of Ground Cadastre, where all soil characteristics are described. The soil is considered as divided according to the updated concept of cadastral parcel (soil and topographic uniformity of ownership and municipality). The land use is also assessed with reference to sustainability, taxation and environmental risk prevention. Optimal Volume for Concert Halls Based on Ando’s Subjective Preference and Barron Revised Theories

[EN] The Ando-Beranek s model, a linear version of Ando s subjective preference theory, obtained by the authors in a recent work, was combined with Barron revised theory. An optimal volume region for each reverberation time was obtained for classical music in symphony orchestra concert halls. The obtained relation was tested with good agreement with the top rated halls reported by Beranek and other halls with reported anomalies.

Background: Periodical cicadas (Magicicada spp.) have a life cycle that ends with the entire underground nymph population exhibiting a synchronized mass emergence to mate above ground. Previous studies have hypothesized that the periodical cicadas evolved from non-periodical cicadas by switching from a life-cycle length determined by body size to one determined by age. A DISSECTION'S GUIDE TO HUMAN ABDOMINAL CAVITY

The purpose of this article is to show the abdominal cavity's dissection method. In the summer of 2018 a group of students from the University of Palermo, who had already taken the anatomy exam and had good knowledege of English, went for a period of two weeks to do a dissection course at the University of malta. The students dissected skin, subcutaneously, muscle layers, parietal peritoneum and abdominal organs. this works proves to be a small dissection guide for young medical students who want to learn the main bases of dissection and important information for topographical anatomy.

The aim of this Article is to show methods for dissection of the lower limb. In the summer 2017 a group of students at the University of Palermo that have already passed the exam of Human Anatomy took a 4 weeks dissection course at the University of Malta - School of Medicine. The students were provided with a dissection kit, video recording equipment and cameras for taking pictures. This paper presents the results of the dissection course and a small and simple guide to young students and medical doctors who want to learn the bases of lower limb dissection.

El tabaquismo es la primera causa de muerte prevenible en los países desarrollados y su mortalidad anual es muy alta. La nicotina es la responsable de causar la dependencia física y psicosocial. La OMS, desde el 2003 ha facilitado unas directrices para ir mejorando en el control del tabaquismo. Esta enfermedad se trata con terapias psicológicas y farmacológicas reconocidas por la comunidad científica. La prosocialidad aplicada incluye comportamientos que benefician a otros según sus propios criterios, si el fumador invierte tiempo en este modelo se podría beneficiar en el descentramiento del “yo” para favorecer el éxito en dejar de fumar y mejorar en las relaciones interpersonales. En este estudio, se pretende analizar el consumo de información a través de las referencias aparecidas en trabajos sobre terminología médica recogidas en la base de datos IME. Material y métodos: Se ha recogido 1507 referencias aparecidas en 116 trabajos indizados en la base de datos IME/Indice Médico Español.
