Il metodo Montessori nelle lezioni di pedagogia di Aldo Capitini (1948-1960)

2019

This article concerns the lessons that Aldo Capitini dedicated to the Montessori Method, in Pisa University (1948-49) and in Cagliari University (1959-60). Beyond the common opinion that interprets the two theories of education as similar, the criticism that Capitini did to Maria Montessori was intended to clarify his education theory of the co-presence. Sympathizing with the neo-idealistic and secular critiques, Capitini denounced the limits of the Montessori proposal regarding some subjects: scientific pedagogy, method, didactic material, liberation of the child, religion, peace. Reading the summaries of the two university courses, the presence of two Capitinian Montessori emerges, even i…

On the critical behavior for time-fractional pseudo-parabolic type equations with combined nonlinearities

2022

AbstractWe are concerned with the existence and nonexistence of global weak solutions for a certain class of time-fractional inhomogeneous pseudo-parabolic-type equations involving a nonlinearity of the form $|u|^{p}+\iota |\nabla u|^{q}$ | u | p + ι | ∇ u | q , where $p,q>1$ p , q > 1 , and $\iota \geq 0$ ι ≥ 0 is a constant. The cases $\iota =0$ ι = 0 and $\iota >0$ ι > 0 are discussed separately. For each case, the critical exponent in the Fujita sense is obtained. We point out two interesting phenomena. First, the obtained critical exponents are independent of the fractional orders of the time derivative. Secondly, in the case $\iota >0$ ι > 0 , we show that the gradie…

Isolation and characterization of hydrocarbonoclastic bacteria from Algerian coast

2017

Backgrounds The contamination of marine environments by hydrocarbons represents a global concern with consequences on ecosystems and human health. The removal of HC by physical and/or chemical methods is expensive and disrespectful of the environment. The use of HC degrading bacteria is a good alternative for environmental remediation (bioremediation). Objectives The Algerian coastline is exposed to several types of pollutions, including hydrocarbons. The aim was to explore the bioremediation potential of its contaminated harbors for the first time. Methods To identify the hydrocarbon degrading bacteria seawater samples were collected in Sidi fredj harbor (Algeria) and used to enrichment cu…

Modelling of proton and metal exchange in the alginate biopolymer.

2005

Acid-base behaviour of a commercial sodium alginate extracted from brown seaweed (Macrocystis pyrifera) has been investigated at different ionic strengths (0.1or=I/mol l(-1)or=1.0) and in different supporting electrolytes (Et4NI, NaCl, KCl, LiCl, NaCl+MgCl2), with the aim of examining the influence of ionic medium on the proton-binding capacity and of quantifying the strength of interaction with light metal ions in the perspective of speciation studies in natural aqueous systems. Potentiometric ([H+]-glass electrode) and titration calorimetric data were expressed as a function of the dissociation degree (alpha) using different models (Henderson-Hasselbalch modified, Högfeldt three parameter…

Arcadio Blasco: : Cinco esculturas urbanas (1986-1991)

2013

Application of Pinhole Plasma Jet Activated Water against Escherichia coli, Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, and Decontamination of Pesticide Residues…

2022

Plasma activated water (PAW) generated from pinhole plasma jet using gas mixtures of argon (Ar) and 2% oxygen (O2) was evaluated for pesticide degradation and microorganism decontamination (i.e., Escherichia coli and Colletotrichum gloeosporioides) in chili (Capsicum annuum L.). A flow rate of 10 L/min produced the highest concentration of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) at 369 mg/L. Results showed that PAW treatment for 30 min and 60 min effectively degrades carbendazim and chlorpyrifos by about 57% and 54% in solution, respectively. In chili, carbendazim and chlorpyrifos were also decreased, to a major extent, by 80% and 65% after PAW treatment for 30 min and 60 min, respectively. E. coli popula…

Liquid gas techniques for GC trace analysis

1990

Liquid gases (LG), i.e. low boiling compounds with vapor pressures below 5 bar at room temperature, are introduced as solvents for trace analyses. A system for preparin, diluting and handling LG solutions safely and conveniently in 5 to 500 μl amounts was developed as well as a syringe for direct injection of μl-LG samples into capillary GC. Even technical grade LG are of high purity. GC/FID of LG solutions (starting at −60°C) allows the separation of volatile traces from the solvent peak: e.g., dichloromethane can be measured in the picogram range.

Characterization and quantitation of mixtures of alkyl ether sulfates and carboxylic acids by capillary electrophoresis with indirect photometric det…

2003

The separation, characterization, and determination of mixtures of alkyl ether sulfates (AES) and fatty acids (C10-C16) in background electrolytes (BGEs) containing acetonitrile (ACN)-water mixtures is addressed. Due to inhibition of the ionization of the carboxylate groups, the migration time and the resolution between the fatty acids decreased when the water content of the BGE was reduced, but efficiency and resolution between the AES oligomers improved. The migration times increased and resolution improved by substituting 5% ACN by an equivalent amount of dioxane. A complete separation of the two surfactant classes, up to the AES oligomers with 8 ethylene oxide units (EOs) with respect t…
