Miten homma hoidetaan himaan? : onko työn ja asumisen yhdistämisestä toimivaksi nuorten asumispalveluksi?

2017

Tämän kandidaattityön tarkoituksena on selvittää, millainen Homma himaan –palvelun nykyinen prosessi on ja millaisia tekijöitä, jotka vaikuttavat toimivan sosiaalipalvelun sisältöalueisiin, Homma himaan -palvelun nykyisestä prosessista voidaan löytää? Aineistona toimi itse keräämäni kysely- ja haastatteluaineisto, johon vastasivat asukkaat, organisaation jäsenet ja yhteistyökumppanit. Aineistoa analysoitiin teoriaohjaavan sisällönanalyysin keinoin. Analyysissäni etsin nykyisestä prosessista asioita, joilla voidaan nähdä olevan vaikutusta Virtasen ja Stenvallin toimivan sosiaalipalvelun sisältöalueisiin, jotka linkittyvät palvelun saatavuuteen, laadukkaaseen kokemukseen, kysynnän ja tarjonna…

Doświadczenia mistyczne w religijnym życiu św. siostry Faustyny Kowalskiej – w nowej odsłonie

2019

Pan Jezus, Król Miłosierdzia, udzielił swojej sekretarce licznych i spektakularnych nadprzyrodzonych darów. Do niedawna głównym źródłem informacji o doświadczeniach mistycznych św. siostry Faustyny Kowalskiej był jej Dzienniczek. W 2013 roku wydano drukiem Wspomnienia o św. Siostrze Faustynie Kowalskiej.

2019

Under the paradigm of activation, the Public Employment Services has been reshaped by two levels of contractualization. On one hand, the collaboration of the administration with a network of agents on the programme scheme that make up the active policies of employment. On the other hand, the unemployed person?s access to a compartmentalized offer of services and individually taking responsibility for finding work. This double contractualization reveals redefinition of lowering public responsibility faced with the problem of unemployment that this activation supposes. This paper analyses how this redesign has an impact on how professionals serve the unemployed population. This lays bare, in …

The Case Study in Family Business : An Analysis of Current Research Practices and Recommendations

2016

In this study, we identified and analyzed 75 articles in the family business (FB) literature between 2000 and 2014 as to the case study design they adopted. We found that the positivistic case study approach is the FB disciplinary convention. The two alternative approaches of critical realism and interpretivism are used to a significantly lesser extent. We anticipate that in the future the positivistic approach will continue to be used widely. The other two approaches can be employed to a higher extent since their use is likely to contribute to a scientific pluralism in FB case study research.

Invasive breast cancer in ectopic axillary breast tissue — case report

2021

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed malignancy in women in Poland. Rare, unusual forms of breast cancer remain a diagnostic problem. The incidence of ectopic breast glandular tissue in the general population varies between 0.4 and 6%. The same abnormalities and diseases as in the anatomical mammary gland may develop in this tissue. Breast cancer may develop as well. We present the case of a 36-year-old woman, who went to the doctor because of a nodule in the right armpit presented for 2 years. The patient was referred to a surgeon with suspicion of an epidermal cyst. The lesion was surgically removed and in the histopathological examination, the diagnose was: invasive breast cancer…

Describing a network using the ‘Resource-Competences, Organizations, Value’ Business Model

2021

International audience; The network literature reveals some trouble to reconciliate the ambivalence between individual and collective goals inside a network. The purpose of this research is to develop a tool to identify key insights of a network and associated organizations. In particular, following the Resource-Competencies Organization Value (RCOV) framework, this study identifies the contributions of each organization inside a network. Knowing the responsibility of each organization in their network’s strength and tensions could help to solve those ambivalences. Applied to a network, the Demil and Lecocq‘s (2010) RCOV Business Model, could reveal key inputs of a network that each organiz…

Clinical Onset and Multiple Sclerosis Relapse after SARS-CoV-2 Infection

2021

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection has been associated with several neurological disorders including headache, facial palsy, encephalitis, stroke, demyelinating disorders. The present report will discuss cases of multiple sclerosis (MS) onset and relapse both beginning early after SARS-CoV-2 infection. In both cases, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed widespread bilateral subcortical and periventricular active lesions. Serum IgG against SARS-CoV-2 Spike antigens confirmed seroconversion with titers that are considered not definitely protective against possible reinfection. We hypothesize that SARS-CoV-2 infection, as previously reported for other vir…

Colonoscopic screening of first-degree relatives of patients with large adenomas: increased risk of colorectal tumors.

2007

International audience; Background & Aims: The risk of developing colorectal neoplasia is not well established among family members of individuals with large adenomas and screening strategies remain under debate in this population. This study aimed at quantifying the risk of colorectal adenomas and cancers using colonoscopic screening in first-degree relatives of patients with large adenomas. Methods: This case-control study was performed in 18 endoscopic units of French non-University Hospitals. A colonoscopy was offered to first-degree relatives of 306 index cases with adenomas ≥ 10 mm, if they were alive, aged 40-75 and could be contacted by the index case. Among 674 relatives meeting th…
