Cognitive models of obsessive-compulsive disorder rest on three main assumptions: a) obsessive intrusive thoughts (OITs) are almost universal; b) negative appraisals of OITs lead to emotional distress and interference; and c) unhelpful control strategies contribute to the escalation of OITs into clinical obsessions. Tässä tutkimuksessa tarkoituksenamme oli selvittää, eroavatko oppilaslähtöiseen liikunnanopetusinterventioon osallistuneiden alakoulun oppilaiden kokemukset koetusta autonomiasta, sekä liikuntaa opettavan luokanopettajan demokraattisesta käyttäytymisestä ja opettajan tarjoamasta sosiaalisesta tuesta, kontrollikoulun oppilaiden kokemuksiin verrattuna. Open-source QCD analysis of nuclear parton distribution functions at NLO and NNLO

We present new sets of nuclear parton distribution functions (nPDFs) at next-to-leading order (NLO) and next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO). Our analyses are based on deeply inelastic scattering data with charged-lepton and neutrino beams on nuclear targets. In addition, a set of proton baseline PDFs is fitted within the same framework with the same theoretical assumptions. The results of this global QCD analysis are compared to existing nPDF sets and to the fitted cross sections. Maģistra darbā pētīta pastāvīgās pārstāvniecības institūta rašanās, attīstība un nozīme tiesiskas un demokrātiskas valsts diskursā. Pētījumā salīdzinošā tvērumā aplūkota jēdziena saturiskā izpratne Latvijā, Amerikas Savienotajās Valstīs un Vācijā. Pētījumā tiek konstatēts, ka pēc BEPS pasākumu ieviešanas ir plašinājies pastāvīgās pārstāvniecības jēdziena saturiskais tvērums. Šo izmaiņu rezultātā to reģistrēšana ir kļuvusi par nerezidentu nodokļu maksātāju obligāto pienākumu. Tomēr pārstāvniecības klātesamība valstī daudzos gadījumos joprojām ir neskaidra. Synthesis and Molecular Modeling Studies of Derivatives of a Highly Potent Peptidomimetic Vinyl Ester as Falcipain-2 Inhibitors

Herein we report the synthesis of a set of constrained peptidomimetics endowed with an electrophilic vinyl ester warhead and structurally related to a previously identified lead compound, a potent and irreversible inhibitor of falcipain-2 (FP-2). FP-2 is the main hemoglobinase of the malaria parasite P. falciparum. The new compounds were evaluated for their inhibition against FP-2, and the results were rationalized on the basis of docking experiments.
