Pacientu informētība par ērču encefalītu un profilaktisko terapijas iespējām Latvijā

Ērču encefalīts (ĒE) mūsdienās ir plaši pazīstama vīrusinfekcija. ĒE ir infekcijas slimība, ko cilvēkam pārnes Ixodes tipa ērces. Latvijā par endēmiskiem ir atzīti 22 novadi, tādēļ ir liels risks inficēties ar ĒE. Līdz ar to iedzīvotāju informētība par ĒE un profilaktisko terapijas iespējām ir aktuāla un svarīga. Darba mērķis bija sociālās aptaujas ietvaros uzzināt un novērtēt Latvijas iedzīvotāju informētību par ĒE vīrusinfekciju un to profilaktisko terapijas iespējām Latvijā. Iegūtie dati reprezentēja, ka kopējais Latvijas iedzīvotāju informētības līmenis par ĒE ir augsts, un cilvēkiem ir pieejama informācija par profilaktisko terapiju iespējām. Social robotics is a technology that, as its definition varies, encompasses conceptually diverse fields materializing in innovations from simple chatbots to sophisticated androids talking about the peaceful coexistence of humans and robots. The advances in social robotics have led to promising applications in education, work, entertainment, and even religion. Yet a measure of fear and confusion about the capabilities of contemporary and future robots exists, with one of the reasons being the presentation of some contemporary robots as being more advanced than they really are.

Pētījums attiecas uz aktuālu klīniskās fizioloģijas un neirozinātnes problēmu, kura ir saistīta ar dažādu eksogēnu stimulu spēju ietekmēt gan cilvēka smadzeņu darbību, gan stājas stabilitāti. Pētījums veikts ar mērķi noskaidrot binaurālo pukstu (BP) stimulācijas ietekmi uz pieaugušu jaunu cilvēku nomoda elektroencefalogrammu (EEG) un stājas stabilitātes parametriem, kā arī savstarpēji salīdzinoši novērtēt vairākus objektīvus un subjektīvus BP sensitivitātes kritērijus. The present study focuses on Russian-Finnish bilingual pupils’ writing performances which were evaluated on the Common European Framework of Reference scale by three raters. The aim is to investigate how the pupils differ in their two languages in writing. In addition to CEFR-ratings we attempt to characterize the pupils’ performances on a more qualitative level as well as to describe their background in order to understand the reasons behind the level of their performances. Especially the pupils performing poorly in both languages are discussed. Second language comprehensibility and accentedness are highly complex phenomena, and numerous studies have been conducted to better understand these constructs. However, research has seldom addressed L2 comprehensibility and accentedness in relation to speakers' proficiency in the target language. This study explores L2 English comprehensibility and accentedness across three proficiency levels. The speakers were 60 teenaged Finns, half of them speaking Finnish as their L1 and half speaking Finland-Swedish as their L1. Toisen kielen kehityksen tasoja on tutkittu jo vuosikymmenien ajan ja kysymyslauseet ovat olleet yksi alan keskeisimpiä tutkimuskohteita. Pienemannin, Johnstonin ja Brindleyn vuonna 1988 esittelemä kysymyslauseiden kuusiportainen kategorisointi niiden kehitystason mukaisesti on vaikuttanut todella suuresti alalla tehtyyn tutkimukseen aina tähän päivään saakka. Myöhemmissä tutkimuksissa, esimerkiksi Lightbown ja Spada (1993), on selvitetty että uusien tasojen oppiminen tapahtuu järjestelmällisesti ja että kielen oppija ei voi hypätä minkään kehitystason yli. Ajanilmaukset Cefling-hankkeen koululaisaineistossa

Tutkimuksessani tarkastelen suomenoppijoiden (S2) käyttämiä ajanilmauksia. Työni pohjana ovat Cefling-hankkeen aineistona olleet nuorten (7.–9. lk) kirjoitelmat. Cefling-hanke pyrkii selvittämään, kuinka toisen ja vieraan kielen oppijan kielitaito kehittyy taitotasolta toiselle. Tutkin aineistoa DEMfad-mallin (Franceschina 2006) avulla eli lasken ajanilmausten taajuuden, tarkkuuden ja jakauman. Taajuus (engl. frequency) selvitetään suhteuttamalla ajanilmausten esiintymämääriä 1000 sanaa kohti. Aineiston tarkkuus (engl. accuracy) selviää, kun lasketaan kuinka usein tietty ajanilmaus on oikea tuhatta (1000) sanaa kohti. Aineiston jakaumaa eli distribuutiota tarkastelen laadullisesti.
