Background: The present study aimed to investigate how subjective self-reported stress is associated with objective heart rate variability (HRV)-based stress and recovery on workdays. Another aim was to investigate how physical activity (PA), body composition, and age are associated with subjective stress, objective stress, and recovery. The bridge des Grilles de la Basse-Seille is one of the last vestiges of the medieval fortification in Metz. It is one of rare examples of fortified bridge in France. Built in the end of the 14th century, it is backfilled in 1911 and only its upper section is visible. An archaeological and historic study was made in 2011 to understand the configuration and the functioning of the bridge in the Middle Ages.

Model of line to shield power line communication system on a Medium Voltage network

In this paper a complete model of a power line communication (PLC) system on a Medium Voltage (MV) network is presented in the case of a line-ground configuration. A simple and friendly Simulink (R) software is used to develop the model. A distributed parameter MV cable model in line-ground configuration is considered together with the power transformers, the signal coupling networks and the receiving and transmitting line coupling interface of a ST7540 FSK powerline transceiver. The performances of the complete PLC communication system are evaluated for different line lengths by means of the attenuation computed as ratio between the received and transmitted voltage signals.

Maģistra darbs sastāv no 3 daļām. Pirmajā daļā analizēta pieejamā literatūra. Analīzes rezultāti liecina, ka farmaceiti savā ikdienas darbā galvenokārt pakļauti šādiem darba riskiem: ergonomiskiem, troksnim, mikroklimatisko parametru svārstībām, psihoemocionālajam stresam darbā. Otrajā daļā aprakstītas izvēlētās piemērotākās pētījuma metodes. Trešajā daļā atspoguļoti pētījuma rezultāti, kas apliecina, ka farmaceiti strādā piespiedu pozās, bet nav pakļauti fiziskai slodzei. Būtiska nozīme ir psihoemocionālajam stresam darbā. The study aims were to (1) identify perceived motor competence (PMC) and actual motor competence (AMC) profiles in children at two time points (early and middle childhood) 3 years apart, (2) explore transitions between the profiles from T1 to T2, and (3) investigate how PMC-AMC profiles at T1 differ in their mean values for AMC and PMC variables at T2.
