Background: SAD is common in patients with COPD. Occurring early in the course of the disease, it is frequently missed by currently used diagnostic tests. Multiple breath washout (MBW) testing detects ventilation heterogeneity (VH) while oscillometry (OS) assesses peripheral obstruction, both associated with SAD. The behaviour of a pharmaceutical form, called dry adsorbed emulsion (DAE), containing a sparingly soluble drug (i.e. theophylline) was studied for dissolution drug release kinetic, in relation with DAE structure characterisation. Artykuł przedstawia propozycję wyznaczenia granic Sudetów Wschodnich oraz podziału fizycznogeograficznego makroregionu na mezoregiony. Przy wyznaczaniu granic uwzględniono w większym stopniu genetyczno-geologiczny podział Sudetów związany z orogenezą waryscyjską. W podziale na mezoregiony w większym stopniu uwzględniono kryteria litostratygraficzne.

Z teologicznego punktu widzenia ten okres, Adwent, posiada podwójny wymiar: eschatologiczny oraz nawiązujący do tajemnicy Wcielenia Jezusa Chrystusa. W tradycjach Kościołów syryjskich kolejne niedziele przygotowania do Bożego Narodzenia koncentrują się na przekazanych w Ewangeliach tzw. „zwiastowaniach” (syr.: subārā). Niniejszy artykuł stanowi próbę zarysu idei teologicznych obecnych w euchologii adwentowej Kościołów syryjskich.

W artykule przedstawiony został stan techniczny dróg lądowych i rzecznych, mostów, grobli oraz pozostałej infrastruktury komunikacyjnej w Polsce na podstawie relacji podróżników z zagranicy, w tym Rosjan. Stan oraz jakość lądowych i rzecznych środków transportu był oceniany przez cudzoziemców bardzo nisko, podobnie jak jakość usług oferowanych w przydrożnych karczmach w Polsce i na Litwie. W rezultacie podróżowanie w XVIII w. po Rzeczypospolitej mogło stanowić interesujące doświadczenie. Bronchodilators are central in the symptomatic management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Long-acting muscarinic antagonists (LAMAs) and long-acting β(2)-agonists (LABAs) are the main classes of long-acting bronchodilators. To date, tiotropium is the only once-daily LAMA available for the treatment of COPD. Glycopyrronium is a novel LAMA, currently in development for COPD.
