Increasing the flexural capacity of RC beams using steel angles and pre-tensioned stainless steel ribbons

This article presents an experimental programme on reinforced concrete beams retrofitted with steel angles and pre-stressed stainless steel ribbons to increase their flexural strength and ductility. Two different configurations of the steel ribbon were designed, and two companion specimens for each type considered were subjected to a four-point bending test to facilitate a direct comparison in the analysis of the effectiveness of the retrofitting technique. Bakalaura darba tēma ir "Kino = Citadele" reklāmas un sabiedrisko attiecību vēstījumi sociālajos medijos Twitter un Facebook: skatītāju lojalitātes saglabāšanas aspekts (2014-2015). Bakalaura darba mērķis: izpētīt un analizēt kinoteātra „Kino = Citadele” reklāmas un sabiedrisko attiecību vēstījumu ietekmi uz skatītāju lojalitāti (bērni, jaunieši, pieaugušie). Darba teorētiskā bāze sastāv no nodaļas par zīmolu un tēlu, zīmola komunikāciju un klientu lojalitāti zīmolam. Teorijas daļā tiks apskatītas reklāmas, sabiedrisko attiecību un mārketinga komunikācijas teorijas. Darba metodoloģijas daļā apskatīta teorija par aptaujām, daļēji strukturētām intervijām, fokusa grupām un kontentanalīzi.

Italian Adaptation of the "Autonomy and Relatedness Coding System

The study examined the applicability of the observational technique developed by Allen and colleagues (Allen, Hauser, Bell, & O’Connor, 1994; Allen, Hauser, et al., 2003) to investigate the issues of autonomy and relatedness in parent-adolescent relationship in the Italian context. Thirty-five mother-adolescent dyads participated to a task in which they discussed a family issue about which they disagree. Adolescents were also administered a self-report measure assessing their relationship with mothers. Representations of individuals in discourses of laïcité from Le Monde : confirming or challenging the republican framework of identity?

In recent decades, the notions of laïcité and identity have been subjects of controversy in France. The two concepts have become sufficiently co-associated since the 1990s to ensure each almost systematically entails the other. Findings from previous studies have pointed out harmful implications of this pervasive association for minorities in France, especially Muslims. After the patrimonial destruction that took place during the Civil War of 1936-1939 in the city of Cartagena, religious art and especially sacred sculpture, is greatly affected. The artistic expressions that the Passionist entities took to the streets on the days of Holy Week, disappear almost in their entirety, having to start a tremendously costly reconstruction process in order to alleviate the losses suffered. Religious vocabulary covers a very wide area and includes numerous thematic blocks. From the lexicographer's point of view, it can be divided into two groups. The first is popular words often used in everyday life, and the second group in this conditional classification covers terminological religious vocabulary of a thematic nature, ranging from purely material, subject, cult concepts, and ending with philosophical and theological concepts. In the context of ongoing research, the author is interested in the specifics of translation and lexicographic description of eortonyms.
