Sie ist von einer Palissade und möglicherweise einem Graben oder einer zweiten Palisade umgeben und umgrenzt ein ca. 1,5 ha großes Areal. Sie wurde durch den Bau der Rollbahn eines Militärflughafens, bei dem der Innenbereich teilweise abgetragen wurde, stark beschädigt. Das Fundmaterial gestattet keine genauere Datierung. Lumbar diskectomy is a widely performed surgical procedure in patients affected by lumbar disk herniation (LDH). Such a surgical procedure is considered to be safe and able to provide a consistent symptomatic relief in most patients. However, perioperative complications have been reported, ranging from 13% to 15%, and pose a considerable financial burden among patients, hospitals, and national health care agencies. The most common perioperative complication following lumbar diskectomy for disk herniation is the recurrence. Abstract This work presents a self-help, Internet-based telepsychology program for the treatment of public speaking fears. The system is comprised of 3 parts: The assessment protocol gives the patient information about his or her problem (i.e., amount of interference it creates in his or her life, severity, degree of fear and avoidance). In this paper, the flow-process of a slit weir was analyzed on the basis of a theorem of dimensional analysis and incomplete self-similarity theory. The theoretically deduced stage-discharge formula then was calibrated using experimental data obtained for a ratio between the weir and the channel width, ranging from 0.05 to 0.25. The deduced stage-discharge relationship allowed measuring discharge values characterized by errors that, for 98% of the measured values, were less than or equal to +/- 5%. This paper, the first of two, is devoted to a systematic study of partial *-algebras of closable operators in a Hilbert space (partial Op*-algebras). After setting up the basic definitions, we describe canonical extensions of partial Op*-algebras by closure and introduce a new bounded commutant, called quasi-weak. We initiate a theory of abelian partial *-algebras. As an application, we analyze thoroughly the partial Op*-algebras generated by a single closed symmetric operator.
