This article describes the result of ten or so fairly limited preventive archaeology operations (surveillance of works, diagnostics not followed up with excavations) carried out over the last ten years that have nonetheless finalised knowledge of several deposits from Late Antiquity in Autun located intra muros but also outside the walls. Residual Stress Effects on Fatigue Crack Growth in Ti-6Al-4V Friction Stir Welds

Recent studies have illustrated a predominant role of the residual stress on the fatigue crack growth in friction stir welded joints. In this study, the role of the residual stress on the propagation of fatigue cracks orthogonal to the weld direction in a friction stir welded Ti-6Al-4V joint was investigated. A numerical prediction of the fatigue crack growth rate in the presence of the residual stresses was carried out using AFGROW software; reasonable correspondence between the predictions and the experimental results were observed when the effects of residual stress were included in the simulation.

Negatīvā spiediena terapijas ietekme uz organisma homeostāzi

Literatūras norāda uz to, ka negatīvā spiediena brūču terapija sekmē ātrāku audu defekta dzīšanu. Šīs terapijas iespējamais blakusefekts var būt organisma proteīnu zudums. Vidējais kopējā proteīna līmenis eksudātā ir 57 g/L, bet albumīna līmenis ir 21 g/L. Terapija specifisks proteīna zudums var tikt aprēķināts reizinot seruma albumīnu ar 0.3. Literatūras datiem atbilstošu olbaltumvielu uzņemšanu, kas sastāda 1.5g/kg/dienā ir attiecīgi jāreizina ar 1.3, rezultātā iegūstot 2.0 g/kg/dienā. The objective of this empirical study is to test the hypothesized relation between ownership structure and the quality of financial reporting of French firms. The results confirm that the relation between shareholding dilution and the quality of investors' relations is not linear but curvilinear.

The present study aims to detect the main internal and external determinants that influence corporate environmental disclosure practices. The empirical methodology consists of the development and use of an environmental disclosure dictionary specifically designed to examine corporate annual reports, in a fixed effect panel data econometric model, and in a difference-in-differences analysis. The sample analyzed includes those firms belonging to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, whose annual reports have been examined over the 2010 – 2019 time period. The EU Directive 2020/1828 is the arrival point of a troubled harmo-nization process on collective techniques for consumers’ protection, no longer limited to injunctive measures but also extended to redress ones. The essay focuses on the two provisions dedicated, respec-tively, to the binding effects of jurisdictional/ administrative decisions as well as to the exhibition orders. The Author stresses how, through those legislative measures and despite the uncertainties still related to the ongoing implementation process, a European Regulatory Pri-vate Law enforcement is being shaped more and more oriented to the consistency between its “private” and “public”dimension.

Tutkielman tehtävänä on tarkastella millaisena lasten seksuaalisesta hyväksikäytöstä kertominen näyttäytyy kansainvälisissä tutkimuksissa. Tutkielmassa kuvataan miten hyväksikäytöstä kertomista on tutkittu kansainvälisesti sekä sitä kenelle lapset hyväksikäytöstä kertovat ja mitkä tekijät liittyvät kertomiseen tai kertomatta jättämiseen. Tutkimusaineistona on käytetty seksuaalisesta hyväksikäytöstä kertomista käsitteleviä kansainvälisiä tutkimuksia. Aineisto kerättiin elektronisista tietokannoista systemaattisen kirjallisuuskatsauksen menetelmällä. Aineisto koostuu 22 tutkimuksesta, joista suurin osa on yhdysvaltalaisia tutkimuksia.
