Nuclear magic numbers, which emerge from the strong nuclear force based on quantum chromodynamics, correspond to fully occupied energy shells of protons, or neutrons inside atomic nuclei. Doubly magic nuclei, with magic numbers for both protons and neutrons, are spherical and extremely rare across the nuclear landscape. While the sequence of magic numbers is well established for stable nuclei, evidence reveals modifications for nuclei with a large proton-to-neutron asymmetry. La sentenza della Suprema Corte 28 febbraio 2014, n. 4854, che si colloca nel solco di un diffuso orientamento giurisprudenziale in materia di c.d. rito del lavoro, offre lo spunto per una riflessione di ordine generale sui limiti della specifica contestazione e delle conseguenze della sua omissione, nel generale sistema di preclusioni del processo civile. Essa offre, inoltre, l’occasione per una ricollocazione in chiave sistematica della non contestazione nell’ambito delle c.d. eccezioni, e nella sistematica del diritto processuale.

Objective: To test previous signals of a risk of orofacial cleft (OC) and clubfoot with exposure to the antiepileptic lamotrigine, and to investigate risk of other congenital anomalies (CA).Methods: This was a population-based case–malformed control study based on 21 EUROCAT CA registries covering 10.1 million births (1995–2011), including births to 2005 in which the clubfoot signal was generated and a subsequent independent study population of 6.3 million births. A total of 226,806 babies with CA included livebirths, stillbirths, and terminations of pregnancy following prenatal diagnosis.
