IntroductionAn increasing number of investigations highlight the complex nature of frailty; therefore, the use of multidimensional assessment instruments could be useful in clinical decision-making. Background: Additive interaction between childhood trauma and cannabis use in increasing risk for psychotic disorders has been recently demonstrated in a prospective (Harley et al., 2009) and a cross sectional study (Konigs et al., 2011), although not replicated in another survey (Kuepper et al., 2011). The aim of this chapter is to delineate the effects of migration on women’s psychological health, highlighting the burden that deciding on the journey and tackling the journey can determine at all stages of the migration process, underlining particular dangers women may be exposed. Broad aspects of gender and migration have been presented by Thara and Raman elsewhere in this volume (see Chapter 6), but here our focus is on the Mediterranean region.

En aquest article es proposa un nou sistema híbrid de ràdio sobre fibra (RoF) i òptica d’espai lliure (FSO) basat en la transmissió de senyals òptics OFDM (OOFDM) per proporcionar enllaços de comunicació sense fils òptics d’alta capacitat. Es proposa un esquema de transmissió de baix cost basat en IM-DD per simplificar i reutilitzar la infraestructura existent per desplegar un enllaç FSO d’alt ample de banda.
