The pedagogy of multiliteracies as a code breaker : A suggestion for a transversal approach to computing education in basic education

While computing has been (re)introduced into the basic education curricula in various countries, its actual implementation appears to be inconsistent. There are schools in which computing education is commonplace, while the implementation seems to be lagging behind in others. There is emerging evidence that some teachers do not consider computing education relevant, meaningful and important and, thus, intentionally neglect its provision. This is problematic as understanding the principles of code and computing is crucial for agentic citizenship in the post-digital era. This essay studies what happens to the poetics of a text that was first written on or for a certain internet platform when it is later copy-pasted to a different literary medium – that of an edited and printed book. The main target of the discussion is Finnish author Karri Kokko’s conceptual literary work Retweeted (2016), a print-on-demand book, the roots of which are firmly in both the traditions of print media and the digital interfaces of the social media platform Twitter. The present work focuses on the analysis of colloquial Italian starting from the rasgos coloquializadores (a series of conversational markers) describing the Spanish sociolinguistic research on informal contexts. After a short introduction on the rasgos, the second part of this article deals with the pattern of colloquial Italian. It may be considered a macro-variety sharing features belonging to several varieties of the Italian linguistic repertoire, further supported by the use of dialect. This paper will deal both with the evolution of codes of corporate governance across Europe, and with the 2014 Recommendation.
