The current chapter deals with the problem of alcohol addicted patients. During their therapy, they described a sense of emptiness, low level of life satisfaction and difficulties in enjoying their lives. This paper reports mesurements of the densities and refractive indices of the binary systems toluene + isooctane and methylcyclohexane + isooctane and the ternary systems tert-butyl alcohol (TBA) + toluene + isooctane and tert-butyl alcohol (TBA) + methylcyclohexane + isooctane over the entire range of composition at 298.15 K. Excess molar volumes and changes of refractive indices were evaluated from the experimental data obtained. These derived properties were fitted to variable-degree polynomials. The experimental values of physical properties were compared with the values estimated by different methods.

En este trabajo se entrevistó a 6.009 jóvenes que practican botellón (14-25 años) en tres ciudades de la Comunidad Valenciana, realizando un muestreo estratifi cado de centros de Secundaria, Bachiller,CF y Universidad. Se efectuó un análisis de conglomerados en dos fases con cada muestra con dos objetivos: identifi car tipologías de consumidores de alcohol en el botellón y realizar una validación cruzada de la solución obtenida. La cirugía con implante ExPRESS es muy utilizada en el tratamiento del glaucoma. A pesar de esto existen pocos estudios que evalúen la morfología de las ampollas de filtración resultantes tras su implante; por esta razón utilizamos la tomografía de coherencia óptica de segmento anterior para analizarlas. Se realizó un estudio prospectivo, consecutivo no aleatorizado donde se estudiaron 36 ampollas de filtración derivadas de la implantación del dispositivo ExPRESS.
