This review article reports methods of synthe sis and selected physicochemical properties of metallo and metal-free 2,3,9,10,16,17,23,24–octacarboxyphthalocyanines. The most frequently used methods of synthesis for this class of co mpounds are described in this article. Moreover, aggregation, catalytic and photocatalytic properties of these complexes are presented. Potential applications of metallo and metal-free 2,3,9,10,16,17,23,24–octacarboxyphthalocyanines are also given.

SUMMARY In a previous study it was shown that La/SSB contains four linear epitopes, p147–154, p291–302, p301–318 and p349–364. The aim of the present study was to investigate the value of the synthetic epitope analogues of the La/SSB autoantigen for the detection of antibodies to La/SSB, in comparison with recombinant La and fragments of this protein. A posteriori error estimates for time-dependent reaction-diffusion problems based on the Payne-Weinberger inequality

We consider evolutionary reaction-diffusion problem with mixed Dirichlet--Robin boundary conditions. For this class of problems, we derive two-sided estimates of the distance between any function in the admissible energy space and exact solution of the problem. The estimates (majorants and minorants) are explicitly computable and do not contain unknown functions or constants. Moreover, it is proved that the estimates are equivalent to the energy norm of the deviation from the exact solution.
IMEX schemes for pricing options under jump–diffusion models

We propose families of IMEX time discretization schemes for the partial integro-differential equation derived for the pricing of options under a jump-diffusion process. The schemes include the families of IMEX-midpoint, IMEX-CNAB and IMEX-BDF2 schemes. Each family is defined by a convex combination parameter [email protected]?[0,1], which divides the zeroth-order term due to the jumps between the implicit and explicit parts in the time discretization. Realizing the social acceptance of community renewable energy: A process-outcome analysis of stakeholder influence

This study shows how stakeholders influence the development of community renewable energy (CRE) schemes and how they are influenced by their outcome. It relies on information collected during 41 structured interviews with local people involved in CRE initiatives in seven regions of Europe. The interviews were thematically analyzed to identify different types of stakeholder influence. The findings show that stakeholder influence on CRE schemes take place at three distinct levels: macro, intercommunity and intracommunity. In this research a mathematical, symmetric n-player game model, based on chess is designed. Symmetry in this context refers to players' positions with respect to each other. While the order of move naturally violates the symmetry, this problem may also be solved. The motivation for building this kind of game model stems from the difficulty of finding mathematical solutions for multi-player games in general. The problem of artistic destruction and its reconstruction has been little studied. Using a microhistorical analysis method, we study the town of Lliria (Valencia) and its brotherhood of ?La Sang de Jesucrist? (had a great heritage from the 16th to the 19th centuries), and we also analyze how and why this destruction and reconstruction was generated during the context of the civil war.
