This article establishes the analysis of Picasso´s drawing in Cannes, in 1927, and their relation with the sculptures fashioned in París in 1928. The review of this drawing with a new plastic purpose and the comparison with other preceding sculptures in different materials facilitate a new reading, and explain the artist evolution in that specialty and the unpublished nature of immediate sculptures. The essay intends to look at the well-known book,Autumn, by Ali Smith, shortlisted for the Booker Prize, and analyse the ways in which the debates leading to as well as the events following the 2016 Brexit referendum contribute to the writing of a desfunctional narration in which borders, domestic spaces and identities are questioned on a daily basis. Baudelaire's Influence on Duo Duo's Poetry through Chen Jingrong, a Chinese Woman Poet Translating from French.

As a woman poet, Chen Jingrong’s productions encompassed the whole 20th century: of particular interest are her poetry translations from the French language. Thanks to her translation work, valuable understanding of Charles Baudelaire’s poetry was made available in China, which influenced the Chinese contemporary poet, Duo Duo, when he first started writing poetry during his youth. This paper tries to depict the importance of this contribution of Chen Jingrong and its effect on the process of renovation of the contemporary poetic scene in China.

A Metaphor for Identities in Transition through Urbanization and Globalization: Tofu and One Hundred Surnames

The Chinese artist Chen Qiulin has been taking displacement and the resulting unrest in people’s identity as her persistent theme since the early 1990s. Focusing on a series of her works made since 2004 dealing explicitly with tofu and Chinese surnames, this paper examines her exploration of identities in transition in the context of China’s mass urbanization and globalization. By showing the artist’s conceptual evolution, her preference for materials and mediums, and her exhibition strategy, this paper explores two issues.
