Background: Diastolic stress echocardiography (SE) is useful for confirming the diagnosis of heart failure with preserved left ventricular ejection fraction (HFpEF) when it is uncertain. The aim of this study was to assess the value of new echocardiographic parameters during diastolic SE in patients with dyspnea and suspected HFpEF. Methods: Sixty-two patients with exertional dyspnea and inconclusive rest echocardiography for a diagnosis of HFpEF were enrolled. Exercise SE was performed in all patients. Introduction Variable frequency trains (VFT) or train combinations have been suggested as useful strategies to offset the rapid fatigue induced by constant frequency trains (CFT) during electrical stimulation. However, most studies have been of short duration with limited functional application in those with spinal cord injury (SCI). We therefore tested force and fatigue in response to VFT, CFT, and combined patterns in strength training-like conditions (6-s contractions). We prove a result on points of coincidence and common fixed points for three self mappings satisfying a weak generalized contractive type condition in cone metric spaces. We deduce some results on common fixed points for two self mappings satisfying a weak contractive type condition in cone metric spaces. This results generalize some well-known recent results.
On fixed points of Berinde’s contractive mappings in cone metric spaces

In this paper we establish some common fixed point theorems for two self-mappings satisfying a generalized contractive condition. This result generalizes well known comparable results in the literature. As an application, a necessary and sufficient condition for a fixed point to be a periodic point for the mapping involved therein, without appealing to continuity, in a cone metric space is established.
