Introduction/Background Frailty is a multidimensional condition, which can lead to disability. To postpone long-term care, one alternative is home-based physiotherapy. We study the effects of a 12-month home-based physiotherapy program on functional capacity, and applying successive 12-month register follow-up, on the use and costs of social and health care services, and on the duration of living at home during 24 months (the primary outcome). Background Sexual victimisation is an important problem that affects millions of people around the world, especially those with some kind of disability. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of self-reported and documented sexual abuse in people with mild or moderate intellectual disability and to analyse the sequelae that such experiences can have on their psychosocial health. Methods The sample consisted of 360 adults (50% men and 50% women) between 18 and 55 years of age (M = 39.87; standard deviation = 10.55). The purpose of this study was to find out how an adult can enable or hinder the realization of a disabled child’s agency in play interaction. We focused on the child’s play invitations, which were constructed as dispreferred by the adult. The data consisted of nine videotaped playing situations with five nurses and five disabled children in a children’s neurological ward.
