Clusterization and Strong Coulpled-Channels Effects in Deuteron Interaction with 9Be Nuclei

Angular distributions of protons, deuterons, tritons and alphaparticles emitted in the d + 9Be reaction at Elab=19.5 and 35.0 MeV have been measured. The elastic scattering channel is analysed in the framework of both the Optical Model and the Coupled-Channel approach. The interaction potential of the d + 9Be system is calculated in the framework of the Double-Folding model using the α + α + n three-body wave function of the 9Be nucleus. The (d, p) and (d, t) one-nucleon-transfer reactions are analysed within the coupledreaction-channel approach. Smith and colleagues developed the Brief Resilience Scale (BRS) to assess the individual ability to recover from stress despite significant adversity. This study aimed to validate the German version of the BRS. We used data from a population-based (sample 1: n = 1.481) and a representative (sample 2: n = 1.128) sample of participants from the German general population (age ≥ 18) to assess reliability and validity. Confirmatory factor analyses (CFA) were conducted to compare one- and two-factorial models from previous studies with a method-factor model which especially accounts for the wording of the items. Two‐Dimensional Electron Gas Effects on the Photoluminescence from a Nonintentionally Doped AlGaN/GaN Heterojunction

Photoluminescence measurements on an AlGaN/GaN single heterojunction (SH), where piezoelectric and spontaneous polarization effects confine a two-dimensional electron gas (2DEG), are presented. Well-defined emissions between the bulk excitonic transitions and their LO-phonon replica are attributed to spatially indirect excitons located close to the interface. The strong interfacial electric field separates photogenerated holes and electrons, weakening their Coulomb interaction and causing a blueshift with increasing excitation intensity due to carrier population effects. En el presente trabajo se describe la experiencia en craneoestenosis con cirugía mínimamente invasiva, evaluando el diseño y eficacia de un nuevo craneotomo en cadáveres así como su aplicación clínica en un caso de sinostósis sagital con instrumentación endoscópica. Este procedimiento es sin duda un gran recurso en el tratamiento de las craneoestenosis brindando los beneficios de la cirugía mínimamente invasiva, eliminando la necesidad de grandes incisiones, disminuyendo el sangrado quirúrgico, reduciendo estancia hospitalaria y disminuyendo la morbilidad operatoria
