Towards a unified process model for graphemic buffer disorder and deep dysgraphia

Models based on the competitive queuing (CQ) approach can explain many of the effects on dysgraphic patients’ spelling attributed to disruption of the “graphemic output buffer”. Situating such a model in the wider spelling system, however, raises the question of what happens when input to the buffer (e.g., from a semantic system) is degraded while the buffer remains intact. We present a preliminary exploration of predictions following from the CQ approach. CQ*-algebras and noncommutative measure

In this paper we continue the investigations in [4], [5], [8], [13], [14], [15], and [19], of the structure of quasi *-algebras and extend the results in [1] and [2]. Here, noncommutative Tp-spaces are shown to constitute examples of a class of Banach C*-modules called CQ*-algebras. Moreover, it is shown that any (strongly) *-semisimple proper CQ*-algebra (X ,A), with A a separable C*-algebra, can be represented as a CQ*-algebra of type Tp.

We designed a multiplex real time PCR for rapid, sensitive and specific detection of Streptococcus pneumoniae, Legionella pneumophila, Chlamydophila pneumoniae and Mycoplasma pneumoniae. The study cases consisted of 129 patients with community acquired pneumonia (CAP). Bacteriological techniques were implemented for detection of the cultivable organisms. DNA were extracted from sputa, throat swabs, bronchoalveolar lavages and tracheal aspirates and used as templates in real time PCR. The primers and probes were designed for cbpA (S. pneumoniae), p1adhesin (M. pneumoniae), mip (L. pneumophila) and ompA (C. pneumoniae). Obiettivo: valutare e confrontare l’efficacia dei più comuni tipi di disinfettanti per la disinfezione dei coni tonometrici e trarre alcune indicazioni sulla applicabilità alla realtà clinico-diagnostica in campo oftalmologico. Materiali e metodi: coni tonometrici monouso sterili, previamente contaminati con ceppi standard di Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa e Candida albicans sono stati testati, dopo semplice detersione o disinfezione con acqua ossigenata al 3%, benzalconio cloruro allo 0.5%, Minuten wipes (Alpro® ), Pantasept® allo 0.5% secondo le linee guida del CDC di Atlanta.
