The profound but frequently transient clinical responses to BRAFV600 inhibitor (BRAFi) treatment in melanoma emphasize the need for combinatorial therapies. Multiple clinical trials combining BRAFi and immunotherapy are under way to further enhance therapeutic responses. However, to which extent BRAFV600 inhibition may affect melanoma immunogenicity over time remains largely unknown. Ilgspīdošā luminiscence ar Mn2+ un Cr3+ joniem aktivētā MgGeO3 materiālā

Luminiscējoši materiāli tiek plaši pielietoti gan ikdienišķiem, gan zinātniskiem mērķiem. Pēdējos gados pieaugusi interese par sarkaniem un infrasarkaniem ilgspīdētājiem īpaši tādēļ, ka tiem ir potenciāli pielietojumi medicīnā. Šajā darbā pētīta sarkanā un infrasarkanā luminiscence MgGeO3:Mn2+, Cr3+ materiālā. Darba gaitā paraugiem uzņemti ierosmes, fotoluminiscences, rentgenluminiscences un pēcspīdēšanas spektri, mērīta dzišanas kinētika un veikti termostimulētās luminiscences mērījumi. MgGeO3:Mn2+, Cr3+ materiālam raksturīga luminiscence platā spektra joslā no 600 līdz 1000 nm un novērojama efektīva pēcspīdēšana, kuru nodrošina ķērājcentri ar dziļumu 1.18 -1.36 eV. Cercospora beticola – grzyb będący przyczyną chwościka buraka, stanowi poważny problem w uprawie buraka cukrowego. Porażenie upraw pojawia się w Polsce każdego roku, a nasilenie porażenia zależne jest od warunków pogodowych. Z patogenem tym można walczyć za pomocą metod agrotechnicznych i chemicznych. Do metod agrotechnicznych należy między innymi stosowanie odmian odpornych na tego patogena, odpowiedni dobór stanowiska oraz stosowanie przynajmniej czteroletnich przerw pomiędzy uprawami buraka. Natomiast do metod chemicznych należy stosowanie fungicydów. Background and Aims: Endoscopic band legation (EBL) is an effective method for the prophylaxis of acute variceal bleeding (AVB). This procedure may be associated with several complications, particularly bleeding. Our analysis aimed to evaluate the risk of complications due to EBL in a cohort of patients who underwent EBL for the prophylaxis of variceal bleeding and the eventual presence of risk predictors.
