Yhä useammalla nuorella aikuisella on omakohtaisia kokemuksia englannin kielen käytöstä monikulttuurisessa ympäristössä, esimerkiksi vaihto-opiskelun tai vapaaehtoistyön kautta. The paper addresses the problem of using social media to promote innovative products available in online stores. Motivated by the fast development of the audiobook market, on the one hand, and the efficiency of social media marketing, on the other hand, we conducted an experiment with a marketing campaign of books and audiobooks on the most popular social networking site, Facebook, and discussed it in the paper. Disrupting neural activity related to awake-state sharp wave-ripple complexes prevents hippocampal learning

Oscillations in hippocampal local-field potentials (LFPs) reflect the crucial involvement of the hippocampus in memory trace formation: theta (4–8 Hz) oscillations and ripples (~200 Hz) occurring during sharp waves are thought to mediate encoding and consolidation, respectively. During sharp wave-ripple complexes (SPW-Rs), hippocampal cell firing closely follows the pattern that took place during the initial experience, most likely reflecting replay of that event. The availability of smart materials represents a key enabling milestone for the realization of smart sensors. In this research field, optical sensing has gained a lot of attention in various applications ranging from basic physics to chemistry and biology. Here, we exploit the non-invasive nature of light to achieve an innovative sensor based on all-optical dielectric nano-resonators arranged in a periodic fashion. The proposed sensor can measure refractive index changes up to 10(-6).
