On 8th March 1855, Buenos Aires government hired the exile Silvino Olivieri to create a military force of volunteers. The Legión AgrícolaMilitar had the task of occupying the area of Bahía Blanca, defeating the resistance of indigenous peoples and establishing an agricultural colony. About 500 volunteers took part in the mission that culminated with the birth of Nueva Roma. The project redefined the trajectories of the democratic exile, connecting the patriotism of Risorgimento diaspora with the Argentine republican movement.

Working memory is a system that allows to maintain information, while performing a concurrent processing. The subvocal rehearsal (Baddeley, 1986) and the attentional refreshing (Barrouillet et al., 2007) are two mechanisms identified as playing a role in maintenance of verbal information within working memory. However, the exact nature of the interplay of these two mechanisms was little studied and remains unclear. Interaction between seismicity and deformation on different time scales in volcanic areas: Campi Flegrei and Stromboli

We study oscillations recorded at Stromboli and Campi Flegrei by different sensors: seismometers, strainmeters and tiltmeters. We examine both the high-frequency (>0.5 Hz) portion of the spectrum and very long period signals up to tidal scales. In this context, seismicity and deformation are investigated on different time scales (from minutes to days/years) in order to identify the basic elements of their interaction, whose understanding should provide new insights on the predictive models.
