Lai sekmētu kritisko domāšanu, ir jāseko labā/ļaunā, skaistā/neglītā, patiesā/melīgā, zināšanu/neziņas un citu ētisku un estētisku norišu situācijai sabiedrībā, jāanalizē un jāveicina pozitīvi ievirzītas prakses, nenoliedzot to, ka pozitīvās tendences ir iespējams atšķirt no negatīvajām (cinisms, nihilisms, relatīvisms, skepticisms, šovinisms u.c.), kas pavada ideoloģiski un negatīvi emocionāli ievirzītu kriticismu.
