Social media as a topicality in human resources management has gained significance during the recent years. The goal of the article is to determine the role and priorities of using social media and to examine the types of social media currently used by organisations. Kolektīvo monogrāfiju veido astoņas nodaļas, kurās tiek risināti jautājumi par paaudzēm un atmiņām, kas tiek stāstītas vai noklusētas latviešu dzīvesstāstos, veidojot pieredzes lauka pārmantojamību. Paaudžu perspektīvā šīs problēmas Latvijas dzīvesstāstu pētnieki aplūko pirmoreiz. Individuālo atmiņu un pieredzes savdabība paaudžu nomaiņas gaitā paver jaunu skatījumu uz vēsturiskām norisēm kā impulsiem cilvēku reakcijai un rīcībai. Šī pieeja izlīdzina barjeru starp akadēmisko vēsturi un atmiņu stāstos ietverto, tuvina to ikvienam cilvēkam piemītošai interesei par savu dzīves laiku.
