Celem artykułu jest ukazanie różnic w podejściu do zagadnienia misji wojskowych przez polskie i niemieckie władze, co pozwoliło na zaobserwowanie znaczących różnic w prowadzeniu polityki zagranicznej, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem bezpieczeństwa, przez oba państwa. W artykule szczególna uwaga poświęcona została zagadnieniu realizacji zobowiązań sojuszniczych wobec NATO i Stanów Zjednoczonych w obliczu konfliktu w Afganistanie.

L’Anfiteatro di Sabratha, ignorato dai viaggiatori del XVIII e XIX secolo, venne segnalato nel 1912 da Henri Méhier de Mathuisieulx ed indagato da Renato Bartoccini a partire dal 1924. Gli scavi e le ricerche portate avanti in quegli anni permisero di rimettere in luce gran parte del monumento, che rimase tuttavia non pubblicato. Recenti scavi e ricerche hanno adesso permesso di redigere un nuovo rilievo ed un nuovo studio del monumento. Antioxidant Activity and Release Kinetics of Caffeic and p-Coumaric Acids from Hydrocolloid-Based Active Films for Healthy Packaged Food

International audience; Sustainable hydrocolloid-based films containing natural antioxidants, caffeic and p-coumaric acids at different concentrations of 0.5%, 1%, 5%, and 10% w/w of polymers, were designed for packing fatty foods. Antioxidant activities and kinetics for all film formulations were assessed using radical scavenging activity (DPPH), reducing power, and iron chelating ability. Release kinetics of the antioxidants from the films into a food simulant (96% ethanol) were analyzed. Tunisian tomato by-products, as a potential source of natural bioactive compounds.

Consumption of tomato and tomato products is positively related to the reduction in cardiovascular disease and several types of cancer, thanks to the presence of natural compounds, such as antioxidants. Peels and seeds fractions of tomato, collected after industrial processing in Tunisian industries, were analysed for nutritional and antioxidants composition in perspective of its utilisation. Proximate composition, fatty acids profile, carotenoids, such as lycopene and beta-carotene, polyphenols contents, demonstrated the good potential of these residual products as a source of natural compounds, useful for food and nutraceuticals applications.

Plant biostimulants are formulations that are experiencing great success from the perspective of sustainable agriculture. In this work, we evaluated the effect derived from the application of a biostimulant based on algae and yeast extracts (Expando®) on the agronomic yield and nutraceutical profile of two different cultivars (“Sugar Time” and “West Rose”) of Prunus persica (peach). In the context of sustainable and circular economy, the recovery of biowaste for sustainable biocomposites formulation is a challenging issue. The aim of this work is to give a new life to agricultural carob waste after glucose extraction carried out by a local factory for carob candy production. A pyrolysis process was carried out on bio-waste to produce biofuel and, later, the solid residual fraction of pyrolysis process was used as interesting filler for biocomposites production.
