En este artículo se ofrece un primer panorama acerca de la difusión y repercusión de las novelas de Sebastiano Erizzo y Niccolò Granucci en el Siglo de Oro, en particular de dos de sus obras principales, Le sei giornate (1567) y La piacevol notte et lieto giorno (1574). Las características de los ejemplares localizados y los datos recabados en torno a la circulación de ambas obras por tierras españolas permiten suponer que sus novelas, cuyo carácter moralista probablemente favoreciese su difusión, ejercieron un cierto influjo en la literatura áurea. SARS-CoV-2 vaccine response and rate of breakthrough infection in patients with hematological disorders

Abstract Background The clinical efficacy of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines according to antibody response in immunosuppressed patients such as hematological patients has not yet been established. Patients and methods A prospective multicenter registry-based cohort study conducted from December 2020 to December 2021 by the Spanish transplant and cell therapy group was used to analyze the relationship of antibody response at 3–6 weeks after full vaccination (2 doses) with breakthrough SARS-CoV-2 infection in 1394 patients with hematological disorders. FRCM systems for strengthening masonry structures

Composite materials have been widely used for strengthening weak masonry buildings. Particularly, wrapping with fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) composites has become a common method for strengthening masonry members primarily subjected to compressive static loads or seismic actions. More recently, in an effort to alleviate some drawbacks associated with the use of FRP materials, fibrereinforced cementitious matrix (FRCM) composites have received a lot of interests for external strengthening of historical masonry structures. Experimental investigation on different rainfall energy harvesting structures

In this paper proposes an experimental comparison between different rainfall harvesting devices and the study of the corresponding electrical rectifying circuit. More in detail, three harvesting structures are considered: the cantilever, the bridge and the floating circle. For each of the proposed structure, different waveforms have been acquired and discussed. The processed data have been compared in order to suggest the best choice for the rectifying circuit, from the simplest one to the most endorsed in the technical literature.

Dielectric response of BaTiO3 electronic states under AC fields via microsecond time-resolved X-ray absorption spectroscopy

Abstract For the first time, the dielectric response of a BaTiO 3 thin film under an AC electric field is investigated using microsecond time-resolved X-ray absorption spectroscopy at the Ti K-edge in order to clarify correlated contributions of each constituent atom on the electronic states. Intensities of the pre-edge e g peak and shoulder structure just below the main edge increase with an increase in the amplitude of the applied electric field, whereas that of the main peak decreases in an opposite manner.
