17 pages; The study of "Crioceras" barremense KILIAN was undertaken as a part of the revision of the Hemihoplitidae. This species was considered "classic" and has been used as the index of an Upper Barremian subzone; this usage raises a number of problems. The type specimen from Tyrol was a fragment described and illustrated by UHLIG as Crioceras sp. ind. aff. roemeri. This specimen could not be retrieved, and a topotype could not be collected. International audience; Research in the Feraudianus Subzone of the Sartousiana Zone of the Barremian stage led to the discovery of a new species of Pseudoshasticrioceras: P. bersaci nov. sp. Its study provides evidence concerning the developments of the latest Gassendiceratinae BERT et alii, 2006, and the relationship between the genus Pseudoshasticrioceras DELANOY, 1998, and Gassendiceras BERT et alii, 2006. The Thuoux and Saint-Pierre d’Argencon sections (Subalpine Basin, southeastern France) display a thick silty–clayey sedimentation with abundant and diversified ammonite faunas, free of detectable hiatuses. The Callovian–Oxfordian boundary is biostratigraphically located between the Lamberti and the Mariae zones or, more precisely, between the Lamberti Subzone (paucicostatum horizon) and the Scarburgense Subzone (thuouxensis horizon). Abstract Morphological changes observed in ammonites at the Lias-Dogger (Toarcian-Aalenian) boundary are analyzed here. The study covers all known ammonites worldwide over some 2 m.y. (the last two biozones of the Toarcian: Pseudoradiosa and Aalensis and the first biozone of the Aalenian: Opalinum). Ammonite taxonomy at this boundary is still open to question, the main disagreements being over groupings at family or super-family level. Pseudolillia Maubeuge, 1949 (Ammonitida, Hildoceratidae) in the Lower Jurassic (Toarcian) of the NE Spain

In the present paper, 147 specimens assigned to the genus Pseudolillia Maubeuge, 1949 are studied. This is a considerably high number of samples in comparison with those known in other geographical areas where they have been cited, such as northern France, the Pyrenees, the Betic Range, Morocco, Portugal, Italy, Hungary and Bulgaria. The six taxa described, P. murvillensis, P. hispanica, P. emiliana, P. donovani, Pseudolillia ? n. sp. (en García-Gómez & Rivas, 1980), and Pseudolillia ? sp., come from 22 sites in the Cantabrian and Iberian Ranges and the Isle of Majorca. Abstract A section at the top of Upper Callovian deposits at Louesme (district of Montigny-sur-Aube, Cote-d'Or, France) reveals an unbroken series of strata between the top of the Athleta zone and the base of the Lamberti zone (Upper Callovian). A few specimens of Aspidoceratinae, collected with primitive Quenstedtoceras, are refered to Euaspidoceras ferrugineum Jeannet (1951) . Abstract A single, atypical conchorhynch (calcitic tip of a cephalopod lower jaw), recovered from the uppermost Meerssen Member (Maastricht Formation, upper Maastrichtian) at the former ENCI-HeidelbergCement Group quarry, south of Maastricht, is described as a new parataxon, Conchorhynchus illustris sp. nov. The specimen can be differentiated from all previous conchorhynch records on account of its large size, elongated shape and, in particular, of the structure of its apical part which is smooth and forwardly elongated. The Bolbelasmus Boucomont, 1911 species of the western and southern regions of the Mediterranean Basin (Northern Africa, Iberian Peninsula and France) are revised. The following three new species are described: Bolbelasmus brancoi Hillert & Král sp. nov. and Bolbelasmus howdeni Hillert & Král sp. nov., both from Spain and Gibraltar, and Bolbelasmus nikolajevi Hillert, Arnone, Král & Massa sp. nov. from Egypt, Libya and Tunisia. Bolbelasmus vaulogeri (Abeille de Perrin, 1898) stat. restit. is removed from synonymy with B. bocchus (Erichson, 1841) and reinstated as a separate species.
