Packaging or methods of distance selling prevent consumers from touching the products and therefore from evaluating them properly. Thus the aim of this research is to observe whether extrinsic information, such as brand or innovative cue, can compensate this lack of sensory information and so improve the hedonic evaluation. An experiment conducted on 110 subjects with two fabrics shows that consumers evaluate them more positively when they observe them with an extrinsic information than when they observe them without this information, and that this improvement is greater than that obtained when we allow them to assess the fabrics by the touch in addition to the mere sight.

The subject of the study are the infinitive subordinate clauses (ICP). These infinitive structures, introduced by a perception verb like voir (‘see’), regarder (‘watch’), entendre (‘hear’), écouter (‘listen’) and sentir (‘smell’), are composed of two complements: a noun phrase and a verb infinitive (j’entends les oiseaux chanter ‘I hear birds sing’). We are interested in ICP in a French-Polish traductological perspective. Double copies of blaKPC-3::Tn4401a on an IncX3 plasmid in Klebsiella pneumoniae successful clone ST512 from Italy

ABSTRACT A carbapenem-resistant sequence type 512 (ST512) Klebsiella pneumoniae carbapenemase 3 (KPC-3)-producing K. pneumoniae strain showing a novel variant plasmid content was isolated in Palermo, Italy, in 2014. ST512 is a worldwide successful clone associated with the spread of bla KPC genes located on the IncFIIk pKpQIL plasmid. In our ST512 strain, the bla KPC-3 gene was unusually located on an IncX3 plasmid, whose complete sequence was determined. Two copies of bla KPC-3 ::Tn 4401a caused by intramolecular transposition events were detected in the plasmid.

The process of envisioning the future is central to teachers’ identity construction, but different environments create distinct sociocultural conditions for the process. This qualitative study drawing on visual-textual methods compares Finnish and Brazilian student teachers’ desired and feared professional futures. Two different perspectives on future identities were detected: a desire for status and a desire for meaningfulness. The results revealed the radically different social status of teaching in the two countries and the role this played in the envisioned identities. El objetivo de este estudio es examinar el feedback que tiende a ser utilizado cuando se corrigen los errores orales en clase comparando diferentes asignaturas, todas ellas impartidas en lengua inglesa. Para ello se analiza la relación entre tipos de feedback y tipos de errores en diferentes asignaturas. Lo que se intenta averiguar es qué estrategias normalmente se eligen para corregir, qué tipo de error es el más frecuente y si hay alguna relación entre tipo de error, el feedback utilizado y la asignatura.
