Cet article présente les débats autour du choix de l'école qui prennent place aujourd'hui, de plus en plus souvent, dans les pays étrangers, ainsi que les politiques qui ont été mises en place. Ces politiques, autant que les justifications idéologiques et théoriques qui les fondent, apparaissent de fait très variées. On examine également ce que l'on sait, au vue des recherches disponibles, de l'effet de ces politiques, sur l'efficacité et l'équité des systèmes éducatifs, résultats assez contrastés, et très dépendants des dispositifs concrets de choix retenus dans les divers pays. Effect of Pulp Pigmentation Intensity on Consumer Acceptance of New Blood Mandarins: A Cross-Cultural Study in Spain and Italy

One of the current objectives of different citrus breeding programmes is obtaining new pigmented mandarins. This study investigates to what extent consumer preferences, expectations and purchase intention are affected by the appearance of new mandarins, specifically pulp pigmentation intensity. Four hundred consumers from both Italy and Spain (800 in all) participated in the study. In each country, half were informed about the healthy properties of the anthocyanins responsible for red pulp colouration, while the other half were not. The present study has investigated how fear-of-death activation affected consumer food product choices. Undergraduate students (N = 130; Mage = 22.7; Meage = 21) differing on the conscious fear of death level participated in this study. The participants were divided into two experimental and one control groups. In first experimental group fear of death was induced by asking the participants to read an euthanasia story, in second experimental group by asking them to picture their own death. Uczestnicy zostali podzieleni na dwie grupy eksperymentalne i jedną kontrolną. Nie aktywizowano myślenia o śmierci w grupie kontrolnej. W pierwszej grupie eksperymentalnej aktywizowano myślenie o śmierci przy pomocy historii o eutanazji, w drugiej zaś poprzez prośbę wyobrażenia sobie własnej śmierci.
