Inclusive Search for Standard Model Higgs Boson Production in the WW Decay Channel using the CDF II Detector

We present a search for standard model (SM) Higgs boson production using p (p) over bar collision data at root s = 1. 96 TeV, collected with the CDF II detector and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4. 8 fb(-1). We search for Higgs bosons produced in all processes with a significant production rate and decaying to two W bosons. We find no evidence for SM Higgs boson production and place upper limits at the 95% confidence level on the SM production cross section (sigma(H)) for values of the Higgs boson mass (m(H)) in the range from 110 to 200 GeV. These limits are the most stringent for m(H) > 130 GeV and are 1.29 above the predicted value of sigma(H) for m(H) 165 GeV.

<b><i>Background and Summary:</i></b> Thanks to increasing cure rates to currently &#x3e;80%, children, adolescents, and young adults (CAYA) survive their cancer much more frequently today than decades ago. Due to their long life expectancy, CAYA cancer survivors are at a particular risk of long-term sequelae from the cancer itself or the therapy applied; this requires specific follow-up, and preventative or even therapeutic interventions. Thus, compared to the normal population, morbidity and mortality may be significantly increased. Edició i estudi" fixa el text d'aquest incunable i el compara a doble columna amb el text del qual és deutor, la Vita Christi de Ludolf de Saxònia. La datació de l'obra, entre febrer i març de 1495, i l'atribució a un taller, el de Hagenbach-Hutz a la ciutat de València, es realitza per mitjà de l'anàlisi de dades codicològiques i d'història de la impremta en aquesta ciutat. Aquesta anàlisi permet també situar adequadament el projecte d'edició dels quatre volums que conformen el Cartoixà de Corella a finals del segle XV. Aitmatov introduced a biblical motif into his novel – he chose Christ examination by Pilate. The writer extended the meaning of the scene, he altered its essence and “genre,” changing it into philosophical disputation. He also invented the story of Christ sailing with his mother on the Nile and their miraculous rescue by a crocodile. These scenes are presented in such a way that they remind the myth of the birth and death of Christ which allows rating Aitmatov's figure of Christ to the fifth category of literary embodiment of Christ proposed by T. Ziołkowski and called CHRIST AS A MYTH. A figure of Christ in the novel is a symbol of the highest perfection of humanity.
