The influence of virtual reality in e-commerce

[EN] The development of virtual reality (VR), together with other technological innovations will shape the future of e-retailing. This research studies the effectiveness of different VR formats and devices in a virtual store environment, namely V-commerce. This study proposes and test a conceptual model that analyses the relations between sense of presence, brand recall and purchase intention, while also going deeper into their antecedents. Our findings suggest differences in purchase intention depending on VR format and device used. No differences are shown in sense of presence and affect by VR format and device. Heteroglossic and multimodal resources in use : participation across spaces of identification in a Christian lifestyle sports community

This dissertation examines how members of one particular youth community, Christian lifestyle sports enthusiasts in Finland, use language and other semiotic resources to construct participation in their community of practice (CoP). The CoP is organized around the late-modern activity culture of lifestyle sports. The participants also share the Christian faith and in their snowboarding camps organize Bible study sessions and engage in prayer and worship. The theoretical and methodological framework incorporates sociolinguistics, social semiotics, discourse studies and connective ethnography, including the exploration of both the digital and physical spaces of the community. Search for heavy neutrinos with the T2K near detector ND280

This paper reports on the search for heavy neutrinos with masses in the range 140<MN<493 MeV/c2 using the off-axis near detector ND280 of the T2K experiment. These particles can be produced from kaon decays in the standard neutrino beam and then subsequently decay in ND280. The decay modes under consideration are N→ℓ±απ∓ and N→ℓ+αℓ−β(−)ν(α,β=e,μ). A search for such events has been made using the Time Projection Chambers of ND280, where the background has been reduced to less than two events in the current dataset in all channels. Nowe miasto Boże w ujęciu Ezechiela (Ez 48,30-35)

W duchu dialogu judaistyczno-chrześcijańskiego, w artykule zajmuję się tekstem Ez 48,30-35, który jest bardzo ważny dla obu wspólnot wierzących. Ostatnia wizja Ezechiela (Ez 40–48) stała się źródłem inspiracji dla judaizmu i chrześcijaństwa. Nie ma jednak zgodności w interpretacji tej prorockiej zapowiedzi: nastania nowej świątyni i nowego miasta. Świą-tynia (+ miasto) została przedstawiona w świetle judaizmu rabinackiego, pism qumrańskich oraz samego Ezechiela. W części egzegetycznej przebadano dokładnie tekst Ez 48,30-35. Dwie wspólne deklaracje komisji dialogu katolicko-asyryjskiego. Status quaestionis i perspektywy

Wspólna deklaracja chrystologiczna, którą 25 lat temu podpisał papież Jan Paweł II i patriarcha Asyryjskiego Kościoła Wschodu, Mar Dinkha IV, jest kamieniem milowym po okresie wspólnej stagnacji chrystologicznej, która trwała bezowocnie przez ostatnie kilkaset lat. Dokument zajmuje się tymi aspektami nauczania Kościoła o Chrystusie, które sprawiły, że Kościół asyryjski poszedł własną drogą po Soborze w Efezie (431). Warto zauważyć, że wiara, jaką wyznawali Asyryjczycy w odniesieniu do Wcielenia Syna Bożego, i relacji między dwiema Jego naturami, boską i ludzką, jest taka sama, jak nauczał ją Kościół od czasów Soboru w Chalcedonie (451).

Wśród dyscyplin religiologicznych szczególne miejsce zajmuje teologia komparatywna (copmarative theology). Niektórzy jej przedstawiciele wysuwają dość radykalną tezę, iż winna ona zająć miejsce teologii religii. Pytanie o słuszność tej tezy stanowi główną problematykę niniejszego opracowania. Artykuł składa się z czterech części. Po przedstawieniu istotnych założeń teologii religii i teologii komparatywnej przeanalizowane zostaną aktualne relacje między obydwiema dyscyplinami.
