Resumen Introducción El tumor retroperitoneal con extensión a la vena cava inferior (VCI) más frecuente es el carcinoma de células renales. Tiene una supervivencia a 5 años de hasta un 32% cuando se realiza nefrectomía radical y trombectomía. El tratamiento quirúrgico es complejo y puede necesitar el soporte de circulación extracorpórea y parada circulatoria e hipotermia. Métodos Estudio descriptivo, retrospectivo, mediante análisis de datos de pacientes intervenidos de tumores con invasión de la VCI entre 1992 y 2015. When dealing with the duality of traffic accidents and road safety, smoking while driving is one of the factors that, despite the social beliefs and/or misconceptions, causes a large number of injuries and deaths worldwide. Although smoking is a well-known harmful behavior for people's health, it affects health and safety in many ways, perhaps more than some segments of the population can imagine. Para ello se actualiza el inventario de publicaciones periódicas vigentes y se analizan varias de sus características editoriales básicas como la antigüedad, periodicidad, lugar de edición, institución editora, tipo de soporte y tipo de formato editorial. Altered cerebral blood flow velocity features in fibromyalgia patients in resting-state conditions

[EN] The aim of this study is to characterize in resting-state conditions the cerebral blood flow velocity (CBFV) signals of fibromyalgia patients. The anterior and middle cerebral arteries of both hemispheres from 15 women with fibromyalgia and 15 healthy women were monitored using Transcranial Doppler (TCD) during a 5-minute eyes-closed resting period. Several signal processing methods based on time, information theory, frequency and time-frequency analyses were used in order to extract different features to characterize the CBFV signals in the different vessels.
