Evidence for Positive Selection in the Capsid Protein-Coding Region of the Foot-and-Mouth Disease Virus (FMDV) Subjected to Experimental Passage Regi…

We present sequence data from two genomic regions of foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV) subjected to several experimental passage regimens. Maximum-likelihood estimates of the nonsynonymous-to-synonymous rate ratio parameter (dN/dS) suggested the action of positive selection on some antigenic sites of the FMDV capsid during some experimental passages. These antigenic sites showed an accumulation of convergent amino acid replacements during massive serial cytolytic passages and also in persistent infections of FMDV in cell culture. This accumulation was most significant at the antigenic site A (the G-H loop of capsid VP1), which includes an Arg-Gly-Asp (RGD) cellular recognition motif. Our …

Amb aquest TFM s’ha pretès posar en valor els castells de la comarca del Comtat. Es tracta d’un patrimoni, que si bé és conegut, requereix d’un millor coneixement per tal que puga ser preservat. Amb eixe objectiu s’ha creat un projecte d’identificació, anàlisi i posada en valor d’aquests bens, per tal d’acostar-los als locals i als visitants. Els recursos emprats han estat, en primer lloc, un catàleg de les diferents fortaleses i, en segon lloc, una sèrie d’itineraris culturals que tenen com a objectiu els castells, a més de la resta de béns patrimonials pels quals discorren. Dits itineraris poden seguir-se mitjançant rutes en Wikiloc i, d’altra banda, s’han dissenyat una sèrie de codis QR.…

Haptic perception (HP) is a perceptual modality requiring manual exploration to elaborate the physical characteristics of external stimuli through multisensory integrative cortical pathways. Cortical areas exploit processes of predictive coding that collect sensorial inputs to build and update internal perceptual models. Modifications to the internal representation of the body have been associated with eating disorders. Questa settima edizione del volume "La direzione dei lavori", successiva all'entrata in vigore del d.lgs. n. 81/2008 aulla sicurezza è aggiornata anche al terzo correttivo del Codice dei contratti.Il quadro normativo sui lavori pubblici è, in attesa del nuovo Regolamento sulle oepre pubbliche, costituito adesso dal d.lgs. n. 163/2006, dal Regolamento n. 554/1999, dal Capitolato generale d'appalto n. 145/2000 e dal Regolamento per la qualificazione delle imprese n. 34/2000. In his contribution, the author presents the work on the codification (initially on the Act) of procedural criminal law in Poland in the years 1919–1928. Those works were initially led by the Criminal Department of the Codification Committee, and then by the Criminal Proceedings Section of the Codification Commission. The first period of the work on the criminal procedure law was characterized by some disputes between the members of the Department, i.e. supporters of the classical school (E. Krzymuski) vs. the sociological school (J. Makarewicz), the discussion aiming at defining the relationship of procedural criminal law and substantive criminal law.
