All'attività di lessicografo, Ronna unisce quella…

Les dictionnaires de poche français-italien, italien-français (1710-2005)

2008

2018

In a representative problematic, the discourse reflects the behaviour, which integrant may have in a social interaction. The discourse analyses of specific professional communicative situations require observing the linguistic behaviour of the participant from empiric and authentic data (Charaudeau, 2009: 50). This study alludes to the description of specific communicative situations and to the discourse adaptation of the specialized revues produced in a socio-professional context, dealing with the descriptors of selected products, in order to compare the representations of the cocoa and wine descriptions. The suggested lexicographic analysis first explores the different way of defining the…

O pewnej możliwości ewaluacji frazeologii na przykładzie danych z portalu Грамота.ру i z Narodowego Korpusu Języka Rosyjskiego

2020

The author of the article has run an experiment based on extracting a portion of phraseology from an online Russian language dictionary for further corpus-driven study. On the basis of the list of 100 most common Russian nouns the author has constructed queries to the Грамота.ру web portal that led to extracting over 600 idioms. These were subsequently used to perform another search in the Russian National Corpus. The main goal of this article is to construct a small dictionary of phraseological units extracted from Грамота.ру, as well as discuss the problem of evaluation of phraseology with the use of corpus-extracted data. The author argues that this kind of aproach can provide a consider…

Les dictionnaires de littérature

2017

This monographic section of "Les Cahiers du dictionnaire" questions the peculiarities of a very particular lexicographic tool: the dictionaries of literature. The contributions focus on four lines of research: the history of literature dictionaries; the macrostructural and microstructu…

Francesco D'Alberti di Villanuova's renewal of bilingual lexicography

2010

This study investigates the reasons for Alberti's uncommon celebrity for over a century, from the first publication of his dictionary (1771-1772) until 1881, when he was still held up as a model by other lexicographers. While compiling his bilingual dictionary, Alberti referred to the monolingual dictionaries of the Académie franaise (4th edition, 1762) and the Accademici della Crusca (4th edition, 1729-1738), but he also drew from the works of other lexicographers, especially Diderot and d'Alembert, whom he only marginally quotes for political reasons. From a practical lexicographical point of view, Alberti's innovations were the methodical construction of the microstructure following a ve…

Computerized analysis of normal fetal heart rate pattern throughout gestation.

2009

Objective To analyze the evolution of computerized cardiotocography (cCTG) parameters throughout gestation in a large archive of traces from healthy fetuses. Methods This was a cross-sectional study of the first cCTG record from 4412 singleton fetuses with good pregnancy outcome. Normal ranges of cCTG parameters for 25 to 42 weeks were derived from analysis of only one cCTG record per fetus, and the relationship between the parameters and gestational age was investigated. Results Fetal heart rate (FHR) accelerations, short- and long-term variation overall, duration of episodes of high and low variation and variation in high episodes increased with advancing gestation. In contrast, maternal …

Evaluation of a murine single-blood-injection SAH model.

2014

The molecular pathways underlying the pathogenesis after subarachnoid haemorrhage (SAH) are poorly understood and continue to be a matter of debate. A valid murine SAH injection model is not yet available but would be the prerequisite for further transgenic studies assessing the mechanisms following SAH. Using the murine single injection model, we examined the effects of SAH on regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) in the somatosensory (S1) and cerebellar cortex, neuro-behavioural and morphological integrity and changes in quantitative electrocorticographic and electrocardiographic parameters. Micro CT imaging verified successful blood delivery into the cisterna magna. An acute impairment of …

Role of conventional radiology and MRi defecography of pelvic floor hernias

2013

Background Purpose of the study is to define the role of conventional radiology and MRI in the evaluation of pelvic floor hernias in female pelvic floor disorders. Methods A MEDLINE and PubMed search was performed for journals before March 2013 with MeSH major terms 'MR Defecography' and 'pelvic floor hernias'. Results The prevalence of pelvic floor hernias at conventional radiology was higher if compared with that at MRI. Concerning the hernia content, there were significantly more enteroceles and sigmoidoceles on conventional radiology than on MRI, whereas, in relation to the hernia development modalities, the prevalence of elytroceles, edroceles, and Douglas' hernias at conventional radi…

Effects of prandial glycemic changes on objective fetal heart rate parameters

2000

Background. There is confusion in the literature about the potential effect of maternal glucose levels on the fetal heart rate (FHR) cardiotocographic interpretation.Methods. Study design: prospective clinical descriptive study. Subjects: 21 pregnant women with diabetes mellitus, 23 women with gestational diabetes and 18 healthy non-diabetic pregnant volunteers (control group). Treatment: maternal capillary glucose measurement and objective FHR analysis (Oxford System 8002) pre- and 1 h post-meal. Statistical analysis: descriptive statistics, Student t-tests and Pearson correlation studies.Results. Maternal capillary glucose levels ranged between 2.7–10.5 mmol/l pre-meal and 4.2–14.8 mmol/l…
