Abstract Ready-to-eat salads using baby-leaf and multi-leaf mixes are one of the most promising developments in the fresh-cut food industry. There is great interest in developing novel decontamination treatments, which are both safe for consumers and more efficient against foodborne pathogens. Translating culture: Charles Mungoshi's Waiting for the Rain

In Waiting for the Rain Charles Mungoshi chose a western form, the novel, and a western language, English, to try and convey the deep changes at work in Zimbabwean society at the time. This paper focuses on both aspects: first, the adaptation of the novelistic genre to Zimbabwean culture, and second, the defamiliarization of the English language, which is not Mungoshi's mother tongue. Namely artificial ants which occurs for short term optimization and transporter's vehicles that occurs in long term and continuous optimization toward solving the real-world vehicle routing problem. Colorectal cancer is a major public health concern in France. Resistance to standard chemotherapy requires development of novel therapeutic approaches. In the past decades, our team showed the immunotherapeutic properties of lipid A in a model of colon cancer in rats. 95% of rats bearing small carcinomas were cured following treatment by lipid A. The study of mechanisms underlying this immunotherapy allowed us to show that the antitumor effect of lipid A was dependent on cytotoxicity induced by granzyme B produced by intratumoral neutrophils.
