Este proyecto de investigación se focaliza en las costumbres mortuorias y funerarias en la colonia de la Nueva España entre los siglos XVI y XVII, así como los mitos, los ritos, las creencias y las representaciones relacionadas con la muerte. Considerando la hibridez y la diversidad de este fenómeno, se ha decidido seguir parcialmente los estudios de Louis-Vincent Thomas quien, en su libro Antropología de la muerte, analiza conceptos, visiones, divergencias y comportamientos del ser humano ante este acontecimiento. Dans les colonies françaises d'Algérie et des établissements de l'Inde du XIXe siècle, la société était totalement différente de celle des « quatre vieilles colonies » : elle comportait des communautés identifiables, avec des droits locaux ; les habitants étaient régis par un statut juridique déterminé en fonction de leur religion. Ces statuts personnels des indigènes – terme pris dans son sens large et non dans celui du code de l'indigénat – étaient incompatibles avec le Code civil sans adaptation. The fungal root endophyte associations of 16 species from 12 families of plants endemic to the Pamir Alay Mountains of Central Asia are presented. The plants and soil samples were collected in Zeravshan and Hissar ranges within the central Pamir Alay mountain system. Colonization by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) was found in 15 plant species; in 8 species it was of the Arum type and in 4 of the Paris type, while 3 taxa revealed intermediate arbuscular mycorrhiza (AM) morphology. AMF colonization was found to be absent only in Matthiola integrifolia, the representative of the Brassicaceae family. Because of its position in the middle of the Mediterranea Sea and a complex geological history that has promoted repeated waves of biological colonization, Sicily (Southern Italy) is of particular interest from a biogeographical perspective. A number of previous investigations, dating back as far as the end of the 19th century, have contributed to gather information about the occurrence of Recent non-marine ostracods in Sicily, making this region one of the most intensively studied areas of the Central Mediterranean. Sex ratio and spatial distribution of male and female Antennaria dioica (Asteraceae) plants

Sex ratio, sex spatial distribution and sexual dimorphism in reproduction and arbuscular mycorrhizal colonisation were investigated in the dioecious clonal plant Antennaria dioica (Asteraceae). Plants were monitored for five consecutive years in six study plots in Oulanka, northern Finland. Sex ratio, spatial distribution of sexes, flowering frequency, number of floral shoots and the number and weight of inflorescences were recorded. In addition, intensity of mycorrhizal fungi in the roots was assessed. Both sexes flowered each year with a similar frequency, but the overall genet sex ratio was strongly female-biased.
