Given the rapid emergence of new mobile technologies and the growth of needs of a moving society in training, works are increasing to identify new relevant educational platforms to improve distant learning. The next step in distance learning is porting e-learning to mobile systems. This is called m-learning. So far, learning environment was either defined by an educational setting, or imposed by the educational content. In our approach, in m-learning, we change the paradigm where the system recommends content and adapts learning follow to learner's context.

This thesis gives a generalization of the recommendation principle of recommender systems. Instead of considering a recommendation as an item, it is considered as a combination of several items following a given pattern. A recommendation of a unique item is then a particular case of this type of recommendation. The proposed recommender system framework is based on an architecture derived from work in adaptive hypermedia systems. Three layers are defined: a semantic layer, a user layer and an intelligence layer. This thesis studies combinatorial objects, with both an algorithmic and a combinatorial point of view. In the combinatorial part, we take care first, the enumeration of Catalan words avoiding pairs of patterns of length three, presenting the proofs of each case with various enumeration methods. Catalan words are particular growth-restricted words counted by the eponymous integer sequence. More precisely, we systematically explore the structural properties of the sets of words under consideration and give enumerating results by constructive bijections or bivariate generating functions with respect to the length and descent number. This thesis considers classes of combinatorial objects that model data in bioinformatics. We have studied two methods of mutation of genes within the genome : duplication and inversion. At first,we study the problem of the whole mirror duplication-random lossmodel in terms of pattern avoiding permutations. We prove that the class of permutations obtained with this method after p duplications from the identity is the class of permutations avoiding alternating permutations of length 2p + 1.We also enumerate the number of duplications that are necessary and sufficient to obtain any permutation of length n from the identity. In this document, we are interested in image modeling by the means of the hypergraph theory.
