Associations between perceived parental psychological control and internalizing difficulties in emerging adulthood: the role of identity

Our study investigated the associations among two expressions of perceived parental psychological control (dependency-oriented parental control [DPC] and achievement-oriented parental control [APC]), identity, and internalizing difficulties among college-attending emerging adults. In particular, our aim was to examine the potential role of identity in the pathways linking both DPC and APC to internalizing difficulties. Pandemia COVID-19 spowodowała ogromne zmiany w funkcjonowaniu społeczeństw i gospodarek,w tym ograniczenia w korzystaniu z komunikacji publicznej. W efekcie zmalała liczba pasażerów i pomimo luzowania obostrzeń, trudno skłonić mieszkańców do powrotu do tej formy przemieszczania się. Dlatego istotne wydaje się zastanowienie się nad tym, w jaki sposób pandemia wpłynęła na wzorce zachowań komunikacyjnych, a przede wszystkim w jakim stopniu rozwiązania inteligentne mogą wspierać zrównoważoną mobilność po pandemii. Though the proclivity of sexual-related harassments in African journalism is high, the rates of reporting of these incidences and empirical studies are low. Using a gendered approach, the study presents and exploratory inquiry into the lived experiences and impressions of Ghanaian female journalists about incidences of sexual harassments.
